sissydear
I think it may be Peltier??? It's so pretty it must have a name. The base glass looks pink in most areas, but one stripe of it next to the red ribbon looks pale blue. Anyone recognize this marble?
sissydear
The marble is 5/8th inch.
Steph
Peltier would be my guess also. Name? Oh I hope someone else will help with that.

m!b$
I have one that looks alot like that, that I bought from Marblealan a few years ago, and he called it an MK translucent Ruby Bee.
sissydear
So we think it's a Peltier, Vitro Agate, and Marble King? It sure is pretty.

stacyw
My admittedly amateur guess is MK.
Chuck G
Sissy, thats a hard one to really put a deffinite answer to. The second photos seam looks pretty straight. Does the other seam look as straight as the one? If it does it could be MK but with some marbles there is still questions about them. This is one that needs to be in hand for a better look. Chuck G
Sissy, John makes a very point in his post with and example shown. Participation like this with photos is a great help and keeps the passion going and we all learn many many points and can visualize the photos and can come up with a conclusion that is for most part correct. Marble boards are here as a learning tool for us all, the more the better. Chuck G--
sissydear
Thanks to everyone for the help with this marble. Big John's picture is great. His has more ribbons than the one I'm showing, but I'm convinced it's Marble King from the looks of that pic. Thanks John, and prayers for your family too. sissydear
You folks helped so much that I bought the MK ruby bee today. It's a beauty.
psia-antique
Marbles like the one Mibs posted are relatively new (last 10 years is my guess.) I first saw them in the big pail at Rolley Hole. It is a pail of about 10 gallons of marbles the Beri Fox gave them to give children.
marbleseeker
It is not a marble king since the seam does not have the curve it should. Definitely Vitro and I think they are referred to as a Vitro Elite.
sissydear
I own some Vitro Elites. They are now called "superiors" and they don't look like this marble.
m!b$
Actually, I think it's one of these http://www.ebay.com/itm/Jabo-Marbles-Collectable-W-V-M-C-C-Marble-4-26-11-/110929648085?pt=Marbles&hash=item19d3ec19d5
lstmmrbls
Marble King seams can have almost any shape from straight to S shaped or curved.
sissydear
Mibs, I don't think it's JABO. That marblel swirls and my marblel does not. It just have ribbons going straight across to the seams. It does have two seams. I took some more pics with my Nikon and I'll post the new ones here.
