Hipocritter
They're winding down, but there is still a taste or so left for our local Hummers- the Ruby Throats.

kbobam
Thought I had it figured out until I got checkmated with two pieces left. But that's okay! Luckily, the mental effort spent will help me relax and drift into a peaceful sleep tonight. I'm sure the FRUSTRATION won't be a problem at all! lstmmrbls
Now you have me questioning myself. I believed there were many many more shapes to pieces than I see in that puzzle. I haven't done a jigsaw for over 40 years so now I have to find an old jigsaw puzzle and take a look? actually I thought all the pieces were slightly different in shape and the more I think about I am pretty darn sure the pieces were all different in shape. There was no way you could get the wrong piece to fit in a spot it did not belong. In that puzzle you could build the whole thing with it not even having the picture as it is supposed to be. Steph
Oh, I see what you mean. I didn't notice they were actually the same. The computer only accepts it one way and I didn't notice they were exact matches in shape.

Hipocritter
This big leaf is from a Sycamore we planted 10 years ago. The twig was about 10" long when it was started. The tree is about 20 feet tall now.
Hipocritter
Today was Election Day. I hope everyone had a chance to vote. Voting in the country has a small town feeling Here's our local Polling Place, the Galilee Grange Hall. This is where we get to see other neighbors from around the Township. . Hipocritter
Thanks Ric, We love it here along the Delaware River. This is our front yard view- downstream. Living here is a trade-off. It is not for everybody. Here is the center of town. This paradise is 20 miles from an actual super market. .
winnie
It looks great. It's the opposite of how i live, I've tried a few times to live in a small village, but got homesick for Amsterdam.I've decided never to go away from Amsterdam,i mean to live anywhere else. kbobam
I'm somewhere between you two. For lack of a better term, I'm going to say I like 'rural suburban'. Farmland and woods around me, with big city pretty nearby.
lstmmrbls
Nice little village there Lloyd. So I found these last Friday. Seems we have a variety out here after all. Most were dried up but there were several plants that didn't seem to know the date.
