BobBlock
Here's the top of a Christensen Agate Moon box that came in on consignment recently
BobBlock
Here is the inside with the marbles. I'm not sure if you can see it well in the images, but the marbles are two-seam translucent white with semi-opaque white filaments running inside from seam to seam, and they are opalescent. Steph
Thank you! Always wonder about CAC Moonies (edit: Moons) since I'm never likely to have one in person. Great to see and read such detail.
ann
Oh boy those are beautiful. That's as close as I'm likely to get, too! Thanks, Bob --
Al Oregon
Thanks for sharing - had not realized they were labeled as "Moons" rather than "Moonies".
aleecee
Thanks...always so much chatter about the difference in "moons". This box makes it quite clear what the CAC moons look like.

hdesousa
Thanks...always so much chatter about the difference in "moons". This box makes it quite clear what the CAC moons look like. It's probably not that easy to tell a CA moon from similar marbles made by Peltier or Akro. BobBlock
They are all pretty "seedy". A lot more tiny air bubbles inside than you see in Akros.
