aleecee
Champagne-pinkish glass in these Jabo's-Ace's Run. Lovely pink in these MK's...opaque and clear based Berry Pinks!
kbobam
Double whammy! Wasn't expecting that! Alyce, I'm not sure if you've been around long enough to know that the Aces are on my very limited list of 'favorite marbles of all time". Also, the very mention of 'Berry Pink' is likely to make someone who's on a temporary sabbatical spontaneously reappear! On a completely different note , have you ever seen 'The Stephanie' marble? aleecee
That one does not sound familiar Bob...although it may be eluding my memory!
kbobam
The question was a little misleading. That was the 'honorary' name I gave to a specific pink Ace that had a particularly nice 'S' pattern. ( :

kbobam
Lots of nice color variations in those! Pink has become more interesting than I thought it would be. Craig, are those bubbles? All the ones I have are round. Do they sometimes get 'frozen' before they get to be the round shape I always figured is what they 'want' to be? godown
Hi Bob im guessing the bubbles probably started out round, the shape bubbles want to be and are elongated when the cane is stretched out and yep " frozen " as the glass cools
kbobam
Thanks. That makes sense. I've been finding myself guilty of sounding like a hosebag art-critic a few times recently. Forgive me if I do it again, but I like the way the bubbles in your marble suggest 'motion'. Your explanation makes that clearer. They used to be 'another way'. But even though they're frozen in time now, the brain is probably capable of 'guesstimating' some of that progression that got them from one place to another. So it feels the motion. Or I could just be completely 'nuts'. Another thanks to all of you who haven't 'called me out' on this!
mibstified
Pink is a tough color. This mib is a mystery mib......transparent yellow base with cream and "pinkish" opaque swirls.

kbobam
Geesh. This month's color is continuing to surprise me. So many of these mibs are just beautiful. Winnie, the way you put together that last photo on the white background that's already here is brilliant. I love it. ( : We've seen a lot of great 'pinks' here. Including 'coral', 'salmon', 'pink champagne on ice', and others. Pretty fancy names! Wanted to balance things out with a 'working-class' color, so I brought my pink marbles down to the local paint store and looked at 'swatches'. Confirmed that this one is 'ham'! (I'm kidding, Ant! Just wanted to make the story a little more fun!)
ann
Ann, the left one in the pair of mibs is just crazy! And is that aventurine or similarly fun stuff in a couple of those lines? Yep.
