Berryb
I got a phone call yesterday. The lady at the junk store in Paradise had some marbles, so I went today and made a deal. Lotsa junk but a few good 'uns at least in the preliminary go through. I guess for me the best is the big ol' hand cut aggie, possibly dyed. Oddly I only had a couple of Marble Kings, now I have about 20 more. Thanks Bruce
schmoozer
Nice! All our local antique and 2nd hand stores are closed, but goodwill gets to stay open...🤬

Berryb
Sadly most of the good ones are in pretty rough shape, But just having new marbles to pick through is a treat. It's been a while. Thanks Bruce

Marbleized
Just saw this post. Interesting. I was just having a conversation in my head that is related to this. I keep saying that I'm going to spend my money on something that I really want, but there's something about that "jar of unknowns" that keeps me buying them. I guess, it's like a cow's "fourth stomach" --there will always be a spot for these marbles.  I have some really beaten up marbles that you would never know were beaten up until you take out that dream buster magnifier. Instead of putting the marble away, I put away the magnifier. 😉

bumblebee
Nice aggie! It is always refreshing and exciting to find a genuine antique lot of marbles these days. It always gives me hope there's more out there...
