William
I thought it would be fun to have a topic dedicated to glass animal collectibles. I'm sure most of us have picked up one (or more) pieces here and there over the course of our collecting years, so open the cages and set them free! I'll kick it off with a cute little 2 1/2 inch tall pink mouse by Fenton...

wvrons
All Alley Agate glass animals. Made at Pennsboro WV 1932-1937 and St. Marys WV 1937- 1945. Included are the brass cut outs from the molds. The two only known yellow birds. These are shown in the last Alley Agate You Tube video by Stephen Bahr. These are also in the Larry Alley, first green soft cover Alley book. But be careful, not much doubt that Smith Glass in PA probably bought or got some of the Alley molds. There is a difference in older Alley and later Smith animals. Any frosted or iridescence are later Smith. Just like marbles there are some that are very close but with fine details, they are different. 3

We'll find them one of these days 👍 It took me a while but when I did there were two pairs so I bought them both after I noticed one of the ears on the growling one was chipped, of course the more detailed one was the chipped soldier !! Haven't seen a pair since but I suppose eventually I will. Wasn't even looking for them at the time, in amongst a bunch of others including a sturgeon, whale, monkey etc... man you really gotta look close for chipping, not for a minute did I think something that small would have damage but I guess it can be compared to looking for damage on mibs.
