Ric
It's 3/4" and a beautiful black cherry color. I have a hard time thinking it's JABO - way too nice, IMO.

Steph
So, who made cherry red glass? Would that be Vitrolite or Fenton cullet in the ribbon? Who did 3/4" marbles on a wide enough scale to make them a good choice to consider for a random marble ID. To me, Jabo looks like a really good guess, but maybe we could learn something about those questions .....

It may well be JABO, but it would be one of their better types so I would expect someone to recognize it. Maybe @Nantucketdink or @wvrons will have some ideas. akroorka
Not a Vacor Rooster imho too much going on inside and they display orange under UV, at least the ones that I have do. If those little white marks are hits and not reflections I will jump on the Jabo train as well, a Jabo trait for sure. Jabo made some very nice deep red colors as does Vacor, among others (could it be a Champion?😁). The finish on this one does not look Jaboesque to me. It may be something else entirely. Cool marble, I love the deep reds. Marble—On!!
Nantucketdink
Looks like it may be one of the January 1999 Pete McMillan Specials. The first private contract run of swirls at JABO

I had a feeling you would recognize it. I think it's an exceptional example of the marbles in row 2 of tray 2 - a real beauty. It's so cool that you captured the evolution of these marbles! Thanks Again!
