Kokomo or Peltier?

Bases look Kokomo but the bands look Peltier. Thoughts?

I would agree.

These type in Peltier are not filled with bubbles--just a nice smooth grey.

I could be wrong but these are my observations.

I cannot separate them for sure.  Same value which ever company made them. Call them what every you like.

It used to be and still is common to put these grey base sooty bubble pelts with Kokomos but get your eyes and hands on enough Kokomos to study hard and you'll get an understanding of their construction and glass and see that they are usually not Kokos. They did make very similar marbles and learned how from Peltier and used their machine and glass. So seems impossible, right? But thankfully they are not the same. Just like how the red and white WV swirls all look the same, until you learn what to look for.

Of course Kokomo made some marbles that glow, so did Peltier and every other company.   Now if you have proven Kokomos from packages, digs, employees, etc. with this same base or color combo which glow. And next you have proven Peltiers that look the same which do not glow. Then you can sort them by the glow. I have had a couple thousand to maybe five thousand Kokomos in my hands.  I have had the original mesh bags and box sets in my hands. I still have problems separating many from Peltiers. Some are obvious, but some are so close that I will have to study a lot more.  If both companies used the same methods, the same glass, same type equipment. I would expect some to look the same just as some Alley and Ravenswoods are the exact same. Because they both used the same method, the same glass, same type equipment at a point in time.

I would say the 4 at the bottle are Kokomos. The top row ? Kind of a toss up like Ron said. 🔥

These are common peltier rainbos.  I have collected and focus on kokomos for quite a few years now. I agree with Cheese.

Here are pictures of some of my kokomo collection. As Cheese said,  for YEARS collectors labeled kokomos as dirty, seedy base glass which has thrown many off because as they search for kokomos so many are looking for dirty seedy base glass. They automatically assume this type of peltier rainbo fits that description. I can show kokomos with clear base glass.
