akroorka
Uuugh does not apply here imho. I would love to know what it is---does it start with a R?? That is a close as I will get--I stiil suck at WVS ID's. This one is just Killer!! Marble--On!!
Fire1981
Iβm sure Ron would know this oneπ₯ RAR
wvrons
I have not seen this marble before that I know of.Β It would be just a guess, pick a swirl maker out of a hat would be as good.Β Maybe in hand a better guess, maybe not ?Β The pictures are good but never as good as in hand.Β Alley-Ravenswood- Heaton-Champion- ??. In the first picture, that dark line at the edge of the blue base is odd. Probably dark blue, but no where else on the marble does it show up.Β
Fire1981
Thatβs the only place it shows upπ₯ RAR
Fire1981
Iβm still sorting my WSVβs and trying to ID the ones that donβt seem to be common WVSβs. I thought this one was different because of the βVβ cutter pull you see in Pelts and Vitros. The color combo and thick ribbons combined with that is a trait Iβm still trying to IDπ₯ RAR
Fire1981
Iβm counting on you Ron. If Gino or Les Jones ID one of my marbles I donβt need to go any farther. I think everyone here depends on you for that final ID. If youβve never seen a swirl like this can I call it HTF π₯ RAR
akroorka
Laugh out loud Fire--Ron will not be called out like this ever. Letβs just call this one a really nice HTF WVS of some sort or makeβhe did his part. I tried--π. It still sucked! Marble--On!! Β

Fire1981
Point well taken. Sorry Ron. I never intentionally meant to call you out on this marble. π₯ RAR
Fire1981
When it comes down to an unknown ID or name of a marble. That marble can just be called a βMineβ. π₯ RAR
PittsburghMarbles
My first guess would be alley, but what do I know?

cheese
I'd be wanting to lean Sistersville Alley on all of them in this thread.
Fire1981
That works for me. One more group of Alleys I can put in the color combo sorting tray. It seems like Alley probably made at least 50-75% of all of the WVS. Iβm always challenging myself on these. How can you not? They are the hardest marbles to ID. Thanks you guys. I appreciate all the feedback in theseπ₯ RAR
