What the heck. Is this glass or agate ? The surface twist has me stumped. The ribbons stay straight and don’t twist. Any ideas🔥

I think it's an early "bullet mold" - a fancy one. 🙂

An early Czech, bullet mold. I have been seeing a lot of this subject come about now. The Czech marbles are being more sought after now also. My first one i found was over 45 years ago, and mistook it for CAC but it is not.  Chuck G---

What the heck is right as far as I am concerned!
Glass is glass. How could one color or swirl be defined from another color or swirl during even a "beach find" .
Very cool Fire—verry—verrry  cool—very cool—a keeper for sure!
I am stumped—chemicals/acid  had to have a play here imho.

Of course, more opinions are needed and always welcomed---

Looks like a normal bead shoved into an optic mold device.  Anyone can make a clone of it tomorrow.

 

My first torch experience was in a Kate Fowle bead class.
