Wolf
Labeled as "Ace Oxblood Corkscrew" which it's not. .79 mint. I'm trying to halt any new marbles until I sell several but this was gift wrapped. The lighting was terribly bright plus the wrong ID. Got it for 38 when it should have been a 200-300 marble. Someone should know right away what it is.

Wolf
It's a Carnelian Akro Oxblood. .79 is about as big as they get. It has cork tendencies. Haven't seen one like this.
Tommy
I dont think that is a Carniealian.Β Β Or oxblood.Β Looks like a weak 2 color cork with an Ace base ..just my opinion that is what im seeing in the pics

Seeing Ox here, I see Opaqueness in a few of the OP pix, (I think) just bad lighting for that particular mib, seeing cork but not a prize name, I may be wrong though, the lighting is awfullyΒ bright. 1

Maybe I'll get it late next week?Β The mail lol....I can wait a week and a half for a package coming from 100 miles away! Every month my supplies come from Wisconsin, they end up going through half a dozen towns before going to Minneapolis then back south to me in SE Minnesota! marboman
Hello Wolf, seems you don't mind talking about what you pay for marbles on Ebay, so I have some questions about this marble. You say you got it for $38 was that a buy it now or did someone else bid $37 and you bid a dollar more and got it for $38? and did that include shipping? Also, what was the incorrect description? As far as the oxblood thing goes there should be some amount of black on/in the oxblood color. I enjoy your postsΒ βΊοΈ

It jumped right off the screen when I first saw it. I thought it was going to skyrocket over 150 but was shocked it didn't. It was called anΒ "AceΒ OxbloodΒ Corkscrew" but I believe it to be a Carnelian Oxblood. A high-end dealer I know thinks it is also. I'll use this thread to post better pics when it arrives. My Aunt says it looks like the baby alien in the movie "Alien" which adds to the Halloween post.
