Steph
Thank you! I appreciate every one! I like the salmon and white on green in the first pic. I'd be inclined to say that's in the multicolor family. You?
dbarney2012
I agree multi color rainbo i think its considered 6 finger to. The ribbon below the white one is blue kinda cool. when i charge my camera batteries i will take better close up of that one. Dennis

Steph
Can't tell by me. Looks pretty pelty. What else might it be? MK?
J_Ding
Well I think so too, but I only saw another comparable like it...that always makes me nervous a bit. But I like Pelt too! John
sclsu
Well I think so too, but I only saw another comparable like it...that always makes me nervous a bit. But I like Pelt too! JohnI saw that one too, and my first thought was it was black w/aventurine that had been in the ground for some time. I have some dug peerless patches that have the same silver color in spots. Perhaps yours has some aventurine?
J_Ding
Interesting. Despite the appearance in these photos, the metal does match up nicely with other metallic mibs I have in other marbles. I don't see that there is any evidence of AV associated with this marble. John

Steph
Transparent? Or translucent? (Is the white ribbon giving the translucent effect in the photograph?)
J_Ding
Transparent? Or translucent? (Is the white ribbon giving the translucent effect in the photograph?) Both...huge regions on the other side (sorry!) that are clear as a bell. This photo hints at the clear regions inside. My thinking is that the transparent part was more unusual aspect in this one, than the translucent. John
J_Ding
This one does all sorts of weird things with light. The blue is transparent, and the rest of the clear areas are colorless. The green is an illusion, under strong light it is blue and clear.
