cheese
Heaton photo dump. After the recent dig at the Heaton factory, several previously unknown types have been discovered. Heaton has stepped up several notches into the league of heavy hitters. It was thought that Heaton didn't use Oxblood. Also no aventurine but I will show some heavy AV swirls soon. HEaton is coming of it's own, finally.

jeeperman
Awesome marbles! Love the ox with drizzle. I have recently happened across what is likely the best Heaton currently in my collection. Some pretty nice stuff popping up and some of it will make you scratch your head as you pull it from another location of your or anothers collection. =} Thanks for keeping us learning Chuck.
cheese
Yeah Paul, I was hoping to find some of those but so far there haven't been any to turn up in my bucket. I do have one I purchased though. Here are some more: The second green one with OX is totally filled with fine AV but getting it to show in the pics is difficult. ManofKent
These are beautiful - I don't think I would have I'D many of them as Heaton. The more I learn the more I realise how little I know.

I never would have guessed Heaton for several of them either but I can see it in many of them now that I know. The amount of oxblood or similar is amazing. cheese
Dumping pics left and right. I think Heaton has stolen the stage, who knew they made so many!?!?
Steph
Identifying WV swirls just got harder than ever! Never would have guessed such interesting combos came from Heaton.
cheese
I know, right?! But the good thing is you can recognize Heaton's pattern in almost every one of them. The glass too in some of them. That one particular purple color is found in a lot of them. It's Wissmach, I dug several pieces of it from the cullet pile. Probably explains why it fractured a lot on some marbles too.

Chad G.
Gonna be a nice bunch in my folder when they're all named and photo'd, my Heaton folder only used to consist of a few dozen known bland pics, now an ever-growing plethora of beautiful marbles, " a very productive little set of digs " that unearthed a good quantity of new marbles. Thanks again to all who were part of the adventure, a great part of history that may have been buried forever. Chad G.

cheese
Some more. Love the opalescent almost "moonie" type base ones with the brown, such contrast. I think the green banana cat eye in green glass is likely Bogard. Don't miss the AV vanes in that other cateye.
Steph
Green-based banana as Bogard? I wonder if I will remember that next time I see one similar. I've tended to assume Master on such. I wonder if I already knew better ... the notion of Bogard bananas is starting to maybe sound like something I might have heard of before .... cheese
Yes, Bogard made cateyes that look nearly identical to peltier bananas. Lots of green ones especially.
cheese
Just a few more. Trying to get a photo documentation of every type I can, other than the regular common one color swirls.
