  1. ok, when i had my toy store we rarely sold very much. we went to toy shows and made a bundle. always did. ebay is a way to keep out in the public but nothing to make a living on. so was my toy store. shows were the thing. and we always had a summer full of shows and since i lived in CA we had them down there in the winter. all the time. DAMN it was the most fun and we met some of the nicest people. just like marbles. what i sold a lot of was hotwheels and farm toys and a few classic cars and biiiig trucks well most everything we had..... fun fun fun. Marie
  2. Al's are only similar. mine are plastic and have 18+ compartments w/lid. of course this is dandy for storage, Als are terrific for show.
  3. in the craft department of walmart and such there are plastic trays to hold material that you craft with Al's middle one looks like one and i have a couple of dozen of them to store my marbles. i have several thousand also and the box is sturdy and with compartments you can seperate or grade or whatever. they're wonderful. i used them to store thread and stuff. also each pocket will hold over 20 standard marbles. one box can hold a lot of marbles. they get heavy too.
