  2. Picked these two bags up in Tokyo last week.
  3. And dont forget the pristine Christensen Agate exotics that Alan sells, where did they come from? No cullet was found to match them and they are too clean to be dug.
  4. must be the same guy Les used to get his Peltiers from, Les told me the guy had 5 gallon buckets in his basement
  5. There is some very high end stuff bought and sold on ebay, watches, coins, cars. Much of the money is wired, I dont know how that is reported but im sure the IRS is targeting those transactions, not marbles
  6. great, i've always wanted to check out Coralville lol
  7. I would imagine canton would be a good show to attend this August, it seems to be the hot show these days. I'm going to try and get up there for it, hell I might even setup a table for the first time. I think the traffic is light because like smitty said, the hobby is in desperate need for new collectors.
  8. unfortunatly i cant go again... We leave for vacation in Tokyo in june, and I have an 8 night scuba diving vacation on the island of Palau in micronesia in june.
  9. I would like to see some info on the pump balls, they say you can still find them in old toilets and wells. Brian is just riding on the fact that he got to dig at the mfc site, he has no authority on MFC, there is no expert on MFC although he likes to act like one with the few limited pictures he tosses out at us.
  10. I really question the exotics we keep seeing as authentic
  11. Contact me if anyone has any MINT MFC for sale. I'm also currently buying yellow slags, and florescent green/yellow popeyes in mint condition. these are 1-1/4

  16. This is a nice hotel for a show folks, its new and cozy. The hotel staff is really friendly. There are plenty of places to eat right around the area.
  17. I should be up there, see ya there.. Tom Reeds new board- Christensen Agates and Akro Marbles!!!d
  18. I wouldnt pay any attention to the values in those books. As you know, the prices you see are from auctions years ago when we had more collectors(buyers) in the hobby. They are also prices estimated by a few people, it was just there opinion. Try and get 250-450 for a pee wee blue latticinio today.
