    Yep, there’s a lot of copperplated 43 steelies out there too.

    We used to take copper Pennys and “soak” them in mercury, making them look like steel. Not sure what a non-43 steelie would be worth🤔. and yes, we broke open old thermometers, and played with the mercury in our hands. My third eye now needs cataract surgery🤣🤣🤣

    Small score, my first sulfide ever, after 25 years. $15 thrift store find. 1-7/16” lamb. Ground pontil mark, lots of fine surface ripples. Classic air bubbles on each side. my sulfide collection is now complete!

    Some pops. although the blue/yellow has a single white auger thru the core, no strands. the salmon/black has white strands in a slightly cloudy clear base.
