  1. Beautiful Alan!(i mean your marbleLOL) Jil Marie,I like your composition of the pastels. Mike,I think marbles are one of the most difficult objects to paint or drawn,i wouldn't even try it. Ric,I enjoy to look at your pictures, they are great. Edna,I,m glad i open the pandora box and see all your beautiful marbles. Here are some American and foreign made marbles. It's fun to play with the pastels. winnie
  2. Mibstified,I'm glad you're not afraid to post those beauties. Ric,those are real pastels,I like them,Vitro's? Edna, your first one is special, the glass has a satin texture look, and that Charles Gibson snakeskin is lovely. You're right Clydetul, simple can be beautiful, who made it? Felicia, beautiful MK pastel colors. Thank you all. winnie

  4. After i've been in the hospital for a few days,I looked this morning at this post and was a little surprized no one had responded. Now that you did Dani i realize pastel colors are too female LOL here's a pastel colored Master. winnie

  8. I've been thinking,it looks an old one to me but nothing comes in my mind.Maybe some one else knows. winnie
  9. Nice diving swirl, what is it? winnie
  10. I think if you see this one in a group picture of old marbles,it could easely fooled almost everyone, well if you put it in the right place. It has a bit of an Alley look to me. winnie
  11. Yes Al,those are totally different than mine. If I had seen these earlier,i would have not asked this question about P.Bunyon. winnie
  12. Here ya go,they're 1.inch. I don't know......now that i look at my picture, could be totally wrong and i start to squinting. it's tough for me IDing patches,i've too much of them. winnie
  13. This pic- is from Ebay, described as Paul Bunyon,if I remember well it's 1 inch. I'm interested in it cause they reminded me of some of the marbles that i've found here. winnie
  14. Anyone familiar with Paul Bunyons marbles? Some info, some pictures? Was it an employee of Ravenswood,or is it a sort of marble type? On Ebay Paul Bunyons marbles are regularly offered. thanks, winnie
  15. And i thought it was much too difficult,LOL You did it Steph. winnie
  16. Sorry Steph,I mean 2 rows are American and 2 rows are foreign.
  17. which is what. 2 rows are American made slags and 2 are foreign slags. I know what is what, cause I keep them seperated, can you see it? winnie
  18. Don't mind at all,i've read in "marble collectors handbook"of RS. Block page 94,that Peltier didn't make clear glass based slags, would that be true....? I see a bit of that pattern in the first pic-. winnie
  19. They're very nice Rich. To me they look a bit like Master Sunbursts but not quite,I'm not sure they are. Igot a few myself out of the States, most of the colors are on the surface and they're almost 1 inch. I will look in my photo files. winnie
  20. I voted, dont know, have too little knowledge of this type, and after reading the thread - ëxamples Of Exotics- i became suspicious.LOL winnie
  21. Yes thats the pattern, mine looks like the little green one but has less opaque. The color is the same as the middle one but mine is more transp-. thanks, winnie
  22. Don't no why but I thought it would be nice to post some more colorful German 2 seam marbles. I think the middle pic- shows the s shape. winnie
  23. Roger I don't know what you mean with Vitro. I've a lot of 2 seam German marbles and some of them have the s shape,on one side between the seams,as Galen pointed out. May be it would have been better if i told it earlier to Galen, but he want to bet and i couldn't resist. The fact that they're made in Germany has nothing to do with this topic. I can only say i hope Mon get the answers he is waiting for. Here are some with a view of both the seams. What the heck is that pic- Marboman, don't like it. winnie
