  1. I agree with Vacor too, the little green tracer next to the yellow ribbon is a tell.

    Love these

They're nice, Joep. But the vast majority of white swirls in a colored transparent base are hard to definitively attribute to a particular company.
  3. See how the ribbons all converge pretty close together at the seams? That is not a very common trait for Peltier.

    Really? I am not seeing it . . .
  5. I agree, the last one is a MCS, and some might call the first one a Skunk.
  6. It looks like a ribbon got submerged in the base glass - it's not what I would consider a cat's eye.
  7. Again, I really don't like to question Ron, because it usually doesn't end well for me - other than getting some more schooling. But I know he doesn't mind a little honest debate either. So I definitely agree it would be weird colors for Pelt, and that the V fold on Pelts is not common (although, I have seen it on more than one). But I do see flipped four ribbon pattern, I think. It does look like there might be a little separation in the top #1 ribbon, maybe it just dipped below the base a little on the edge?
  8. I'm looking forward to it! But you'll make it easier for all of us if you show only a few marbles with multiple views in each post.

I would have sworn I saw one in your collection, or somewhere. But I don't think it's a marble you'd forget so . . .?

You should just put them all in a big box and send them to me. Just think of the time and effort you'd save, and you wouldn't have to move them either!

I was one of those hundreds who had the marble in hand, it's a scary Jorkscrew, and one of the reasons I have tried to learn Jabos too.
  12. If there are only three ribbons running more or less seam-to-seam, I would say foreign. If there are four (even if one is hidden beneath the surface), I might rethink it, since the white color looks really good.
  13. Good shot, Rick - Alley is all I see.
  14. Very cool, Craig, thanks for the link. The packages look a little different than the cello and plastic ones I've seen -they sort of look flat-backed and shrink wrapped. Have you seen similar? It'd be nice to have that cat display.
  15. I agree, one of them got spun on the rollers.

    Alley is my guess.

    Alley or CAC, leaning Alley
  18. I'm way more of a newbie than Ron, and my heads not marble yet, just saying . . .
  19. Thank you, William. I have lots of plans, and fishing more is way up on my list. Thanks, Tommy, that five years will fly by. I wish you smooth sailing until then!
  20. I need to pay more attention - didn't notice the size!
  21. Gee, I wonder what the inside of this marble looks like . . . where's the hammer? Wow! Look at that! You know that's what they were saying . . . 😄
