    Alley is my guess.

    Champion

    Alley or CAC, leaning Alley
  3. I'm way more of a newbie than Ron, and my heads not marble yet, just saying . . .
  4. Thank you, William. I have lots of plans, and fishing more is way up on my list. Thanks, Tommy, that five years will fly by. I wish you smooth sailing until then!
  5. I need to pay more attention - didn't notice the size!
  6. Gee, I wonder what the inside of this marble looks like . . . where's the hammer? Wow! Look at that! You know that's what they were saying . . . 😄
  7. Sometimes, you wish those kids would have had just a little less fun . . . . . . Naaaahhhh.
  8. That looks like some kinda bizarre Jack-o-lantern!
  9. Another oldie but a goodie: from Sistersville
  10. And you gotta love their batch-glass white too!
  11. Nice example. Alley did some great AV too - second only to Peltier IMO.
  12. The last site of Alley production was in St. Mary's WV. I think they operated there for about 10 years prior to closing in the late 1940s. Sistersville was Alleys second site. It operated for about 2 years in the early 1930s.
  13. It's always nice when you can find multiple sizes of the same pattern too:
  14. There are all kinds of great threads in the archives . . . Here are some newer Alleys from St. Mary's:
  15. Nice marbles, I'm pretty sure the right one is Alley and the left may be too, but I'm getting a bit of a Champion vibe from that one.
  16. Alleys are great marbles. And since I see a couple of Sistersville marbles in your group, I'll start by referring folks to a post I made a few years ago:
  17. Cool - which planet is that?
  18. A bit of an oddball, sort of looks like a double ingot, not a strong Pelt vibe though, more like Alley.
  19. From this view it looks like it has some clear in it?
  20. It might be, but from this one view, I wouldn't count on it. As an aside, I don't think Pelt collectors today would call that color combination a John Deere.
  21. Indian Blanket colors - a little odd looking though.
  22. Well, if you think it's a marble - yes. If you think it's a hand-made - no. 😉 I assume you're talking about the green base - kinda hard to tell what it is from the single view, what are you thinking? The other marbles look unremarkable to me.
