  1. You will probably get a better response if you only put one or two marbles in a single post. It makes it very difficult to ID the mibs when you are trying to keep track of numbers and scrolling up and down constantly to prepare a response. Most of us like to help with IDs but the easier you make it for us the more likely it is you will get the help you are seeking. I will say that the first marble appears to be a Peltier Rainbo and the last marble appears to be Asian - likely an Imperial. The colored glass (blue) marble above that is a "Clearie" or "Purie". Most companies made them for games and they are most often indistinguishable from one another. The marble above that (blue, white, red) is likely a Vacor or Mega marble from Mexico.

    Marbles ID

Okay, now I am thinking #2 might be Marble King instead of Vitro, and #s 3-5 are looking to me like they might not be made in the USA. The yellow/brown one has me puzzled and, whatever the big blue one is, I don't think it glass and I do think it's newer.
  3. A little hard to tell all of what you have but some of them look like Akros.
  4. I see Peltier possibilities too.
  5. I am really glad too see Joe's site preserved too - thanks!
  6. Drizzle is seen when there is a fine stream of glass laying on top of the marble - like the glass drizzled onto the glob before it was rolled. You can see more examples here - marbles 56 & 125 show it best.
  7. I agree on the Peltier Rainbos, might need another couple of shots of that last one.
  8. I would say yes to Vacor, but it might be a newer one from Asia too.
  9. I'm not good with Marble King names but I think to be blended it would have to have another color besides purple, but I could be wrong.
  10. I think that would still be considered a triple cross-through, William. And yes, they are harder to find than single cross-throughs, which still have six vanes and three colors, but two vanes of the same color are next to one another, like W-B-B-W-R-R-(back to W). Yours is W-R-B-W-R-B-(back to white).
  11. I'm pretty sure I'd get more out of that one. But Galen, I thought you once said that anything younger than you wasn't old . . . change of heart? lol
  12. That's a nice blue oddball, Bill!
  13. That makes a great display, Brad, - nice. I wish I still had the one I played as a kid.
  14. And I am sure you're right. I need to slow down, the AV is obviousin that third pic and I thought I was seeing reflections.
  15. Honestly Ron, I don't think those marbles are named. I just called it a Sunny Sky because it seemed to fit and I knew that Bill would know which one I was talking about. Apparently you did too. When a name fits, it just fits, I guess.
  16. I got an original in a big collection I bought years ago. Every once in a while I get it out and shoot a few. I don't think I've ever gotten a marble in the 250 point hole.
  17. It's a great story, Ron. You made me double check my Sure Shot box - no luck. lol
  18. That Sunny Sky is one of my all time favorite marbles - what a beauty!
  19. Bill, I remember the day you found those Carnivals like it was yesterday. And I remember the day you gave me one even better! It's the top one in your pic.
  20. Good idea for a topic, Tommy, I'd save that one too, until I found a replacement. And there's a good story behind Chad's marble, so I'd keep that one too. And Bill, that marble looks like an asteroid or something - a keeper, for sure! I tend to keep beaters that are rare, and something I don't collect, or rare and an example of something I want to collect. Here's one of the former. It appears someone had some fun with it . . .

    Akro?

Akro would be my guess too, Tommy.
