  1. Wow, Brad, that is awesome! A museum piece, for sure. The marble is sweet too!
  2. Can you imagine that on a drug store facade!
  3. And you may want to look close at the black in sunlight to check for AV sparkles.
  4. I agree. It definitely helps when you show any seams.
  5. I wondered about that the minute I posted, it's really exquisite.
  6. Wow, the one with the agate blade and green dyed agate ball is awesome!
  7. I was under the impression that some stone, maybe even marble, was imported to Germany. Does anyone else have ideas about this?
  8. The only Pelt I see is upper left. The rest appear to be West Virginia Swirls. Pelts will most often have 4 ribbons running seam to seam - two on each half of the marble.
  9. That looks like a CAC to me.
  10. Ric

    Maybe a Duolite?
  11. Nice marble. Not CAC, more likely Alley, I think.
  12. You definitely found a good one, James!
  13. Manufacturers' QC processes made them rare, no doubt.
  14. Great marble, Chad - way to start the day!
  15. It's a pretty crazy thought but the chocolate covered marbles have me thinking about a candy coating.
  16. Marbles are toys first, and they need to roll straight. I am sure that was and is the most important thing for any manufacturer.
  17. I think purple on Pelts is very uncommon, in general.
  18. Can you clarify this Art? Do you mean 75 augers to one spiral or vice versa?
  19. I found a red one in with my clearies.
  20. As far as I know, MFC bricks are oxblood and it is also found on old German handmades like this one . . .
