It's a really nice box though! And the marbles look similar to one another too - that's a plus!
  2. The flamey one up front is especially nice.
  3. Vaseline glass. Glows like nuts.
  4. You're right, Bob, they wouldn't look as good with just the oxblood. Here are some similarly colored Marble Kings. If only they were as big!
  5. Just some 1" Akros, and a bump. Threre's light AV in a couple of the green ones.
  6. I thought it was a Marble King, Winnie, but not too common here, as far as I know, so . . . ? Nice chevrons on that one!
  7. They certainly did do oxblood in European marbles, and it looks like there is some in the first - not sure about the second. They are both great marbles!
  8. I don't think I've seen the Vaseline slags that big. Nice find!
  9. As usual with marbles, there's lots of variation. The best Woodies would have more coverage. Sometimes the ribbons widen out, or even run together on one or both sides, but it's pretty much the same marble, IMO - just tighter ribbons.
  10. They are cool, and It's interesting you say that, since it looks a lot like what others would call a Woody.

Dan, When I think of a Bloody, that is pretty much what I think of.
  12. Has anyone else seen one of these? It's a "broken cork", but it's a Marble King. http://i1355.photobucket.com/albums/q711/a1mibs/Marble King/Ric323_zpsnjtyntan.jpg

  14. That's a cool one, Steph. We probably don't see to many gray ones because . . . they're kinda yucky. lol.
  15. I don't seem to find many gray ones.
  16. "Pulled seam" is new to me too. But I get it . . . the seams are pulled together, with a fold in the middle.
  17. Looks like an Aquamilk but I can't tell very well from the pics whether its oxblood or not. Aquamarines with oxblood are out there though so I imagine it's possible.
  18. I'm with Charles - a weird Inky?
  19. I have heard the last marble I posted in #36 referred to as a snow globe or a blizzard. It's a little oversized, ~11/16, if I remember correctly. Your blue based ones are very cool. I am not sure about unmelted glass though, it seems more like bits of oven brick, or some other impurity, to me.
