There is nothing like sun to bring out AV, and those are great macro pics, Jess. The Tigers are pretty cool too, Chad - who is making them?

Top looks like an Akro (I forget what they call them), 2nd is a WV swirl, third is an Akro Popeye (you have a few, they come in different color combos - I've seen some red and yellow ones too), 4th is an Akro Silver Oxblood, 5th looks like it might be a badly beat-up brick - color looks a little light though so . . .? FWIW: Akro Popeyes usually have two colors in a corkscrew pattern with wispy white in clear.

This looks like a newer JABO marble.

Top is another Vacor. 2nd a WV swirl 3rd is the nicest (An Akro, that red is oxblood). Can't tell much about the 4th from this pic.

These all look newer to me. The bottom (maybe the top) are Vacor form Mexico.

Top is an Akro Corkscrew, 2nd is a slag or swirl. third is a swirl. 4t & 5th look newer to me but someone will probably correct me if I'm wrong.

I have some time, so I am happy to help. If you want to put quite a bunch (20-30) in a flat layer, I'll try to mark them up for you. More pics of the ones marked nicest would help too.

The red/yellow on the left might be Akro. The upper two dark ones look interesting. It's pretty hard to ID a lot of marbles with just one view. The others are referred to as West Virginia swlrls - not much value for these. How about starting with the ones marked below and any others you have that look like them. Most but not all I marked are Akros - some Popeyes and others. There is also an agate stone marble. I am interested to see more of the green/black one too. The yellow and black one sitting on top around 10-11 O'clock is a Marble King Bumble Bee.

I see a few that might have some value but it entirely depends on their condition. Of course, there are also quite a few we can't see. If you want to post some groups in the ID section, in a single layer so people can see them, and in rows and columns so we can refer to them easily, you might get some more help.

Base ball marble point game ( Skip Ball )
Ric replied to Chad G.'s topic in Marble Runs & Marble Games
I still take this one off the wall and play it occasionally. Kinda odd though, the shooter never actually touches the marble that's shot. You have to put another marble in the little hole covering the shooting stage. The shooting rod hits that marble and sends it into the marble being played. I've always wondered if there was a rubber or wood ball that was supposed to be in the shooting stage. Otherwise, I have no idea why it would be set up that way. Although, if you put three marbles in shooting position on the ramp, only the last one actually gets shot - sorta like Newton's cradle, maybe that's why. -
