I agree, it's neat to easily see where they are relative to one another. Thanks for posting it.

New to me, very nice!

Four marbles unknown. Maybe a Cobalt marble king and jabo.

I'll guess two Peltiers top row and two Alleys on the bottom. Nice job with the pics, showing both seams (multiple views) is usually helpful. The upper right is an especially desirable marble. -
Marble King Pixie Dust from the 2010 Sistersville Marble Festival Ron took the pic - I was having an exceptional nail day. lol.

This is good stuff, William. Thanks a lot for showing us!

Nice hybrids, Gladys!

I haven't seen a marble like the first one, as far as I recall. The second marble here^^ is the old German I was referring to.

IMO, some of the Baccarat millefiori is over the top beautiful too.

The photo is Steve's, the marble is now mine, thanks @duffy! And here is a little article that describes the occasion.

An excellent reminder that the "Marble King", Berry Pink, packaged lots of different marbles as a jobber!

Does it make sense to drop the location name when describing these types and just call them Leighton's, or can the location of production be reliably determined in some cases? If so, what are some characteristics that would distinguish one location from another? I know it's a big question, and I'll appreciate any response I can get.

Yeah, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to leave you hanging. π

Most of these appear to be newer marbles from Asia, although there might be an old German hand-made in the group - on the right of the biggest confetti marble at the bottom of the pic.

. . . beyond that, I don't have much to say. π

I think not a Popeye & not a moss agate

I agree, a lazy corkscrew on an Ace base, IMO.

I am thinking it's not American but . . .
