    Peltier?

It would be a really weird Master IMO. Although, I agree it's a hard one to decipher. After much consideration and consternation I am going with an old Vienna Vitro. I think the colors and the glass fit. It's a nice marble, regardless, and that is my best guess.
  2. Nice, Dave, the marbles look like Vitros to me, and I'd say earlier-mid 40s is about right.
  3. Welcome to the board. I think #1 looks like a Vitro Blackie - I agree with Al and Steph on the others.
  4. More good stuff . . . you seem to be on a bit of a run lately. But the coffee klatsch with your Dad's old friends seems like it might be the best part of it.
  5. I have not seen the first but I have seen (might even have) the second. They are both nice marbles.
  6. Nice Guttas, I think the damage is melt spots. They stayed too close to a heat source for too long, IMO.
  7. That is very nice and the Skilly is awesome!
  8. I see at least 3 companies. I have one of the bags, I wish it had those marbles in it.
  9. Rats, I found some whiskers but I lost the cat! He's in there somewhere . . .
  10. Seriously, you don't see the cat? lol
  11. I don't know, I did have a glass of Scotch last night, maybe it's a requirement. lol
  12. He's staring at you. See any whiskers?
  13. Hello there fellow Hoosier. Nice marbles!

    Peltier?

I think I see a yellow, brown, green, flip-flop, with the yellow on one side pushed up against the green on the other. Jumpin' Jiminy man, that's a nice marble! Too nice for a Kokomo, IMO. Is that an elusive Green Sunset, maybe burnt a bit?
  15. That is a good one, other than the frame bump, which is impossible to avoid, it looks like a continuous movie.

    3 to ID

The last one looks like someone pounded nails with it - downright galactic looking, kind of cool. Does the dirty white glow under UV?
  17. . . . a fellow Hoosier found another. I think Kokomo marbles are interesting and great fun to collect. No doubt, they are much less common than Pelts, but I doubt I have seen half a dozen I would call pretty. The vast majority wouldn't even come close. But that is just fine with me because I don't really care for marbles that are too flashy - unless they are WV swirls, of course. BTW, I think the middle one in the group of three could be a Kokomo too.
  18. The bottom (or right) one is likely Kokomo.
  19. Hey Miser, I couldn't be there either. Anyone out there have a report for us?
  20. Thanks for showing them folks, but are there any snakes that aren't Akro out there?
