  1. Jill Marie, You have to be a little careful focusing only on the "turkey head". I've seen old Alleys that show pretty nice ones.
  2. That's a cool marble too, Winnie. I like the colors. I've been putting these types back for a long time, and I think I've narrowed it down . . . I'm pretty sure they're either Ravions or Champenwoods.
  3. Those are nice looking, Duffy. I like the size too.
  4. Thanks for the thought, Dustin. Now there are some marbles I know almost nothing about. I'm betting you have a reason for suggesting Czech origins. Could you fill me in on what you're seeing? Any links?
  5. That's a nice color combo, for sure. One of my favorites . . .
  6. Winnie, The only idea I have for sure is that it's related to this one.
  7. I wonder if the diggers just had a bias towards halves . . . pitch the shards and keep the halves or larger cullet samples?
  8. Nice marbles. I like the white tracers . . .
  9. Those are cool marbles, Winnie. I can see a resemblance, but the Paul Bunyan's colors are rather limited and the colors on those you posted are distinct enough that, hopefully, one can tell the difference.
  10. That looks like a Paul Bunyan to me, Winnie. And I'd like to see the similar ones you've found there.
  11. It is attractive. That yellow really stands out on the gray base. I wouldn't mind seeing a few more pics. I think Cas = Christensen Agates
  12. Very nice. It does look kind of CA but I wouldn't be able to rule Alley out from the pictures. I'd want to see it in hand.
  13. It makes sense to me. My usage may be somewhat archaic . . . like me.
  14. I like copper too, and I think this one is related to yours. The pics aren't great, it has a blue/green transparent base, but maybe it'll bring back some fond memories and help pass time while we're waiting for Ron to wake up from his nap. P.S. To Smitty, the purveyor of this fine marble . . . I wish you, your lovely wife and all of your kin, long, healthy and prosperous lives. Thank You!
  15. If I am not mistaken, it is particularly a target marble as opposed to a shooter.
  16. Another great marble, Don. Is that base glass a pale green transparent or am I seeing things?
  17. Nice Marble, Don. I've not seen another that color, and since it seems like it wouldn't have been the only one made, I've now got something else to look for. Thanks for showing it. I really like it!
  18. Hey Art, Were they HG or all machine? Did they show reverse twists or feathering? Any details? This inquiring mind wants to know . . .
  19. Cool marble, Mike. And Rich, you did a great job!
  20. Nice bunch there, Mike. P.S. Have you read your PMs lately? . . . hint . . . hint.
  21. There are some real nice mibs in there . . . you lucky duck!
  22. That is cool glass, Steve. My sis does stained glass windows and such. She'd be all over that stuff. I'll bet it's worth some $ to the right person. I know some of the glass she buys is pricey.
