  1. I don't think Peltier - Alley or Champion, perhaps.
  2. Kind of Peltish colors but the construction . . . ? A few more shots might help.
  3. At first I thought it was colored glass . . .
  4. It does sound like you're in a better situation, Bob. Welcome to the North country. You can find peace up here. From the other edge of the lake . . .
  5. The weak white base glass (lots of clear) is not an uncommon Champion trait either.
  6. Quite likely, I think.
  7. Yup, and you can find them all if you look close. But I know you want to do the volume calculations, Steph. Come on, how big are the mibs it's made from?
  8. Sort of a Champion trait, isn't it? Check out marble #12 (second pic is best) in the Stutzman Set.
  9. I think I see what Galen sees. And I think part of the reason old Champions are tough to ID is that there just aren't a lot of good examples around.
  10. Double ingots, found in Illinois together long ago, with matching marbles I've found since. This sextuplet was in the same group and measures a near perfectly round 1 1/8" (w/o the nub ) - it's Bill's now.
  11. Alley, Sistersville, I think.
  12. I think it's a spun Champion NOF.
  13. I can see why you might think Cairo, here is one for comparison . . . But yours looks Alley to me.
  14. This is a fun thread. Are gates fun? Cheers!
  15. Nice old Alley. I'd put it in my collection, for sure!
  16. Super collection, Alan, thanks for sharing. The pic is great too. I may have to keep it on my desktop for a while so I can absorb it all - it's really great!
  17. Great colors - the gathers and cut-offs are looking good too!
  18. No doubt in my mind - it's a Tater, the yellow on some of them is outstanding.
  19. I am getting a Vitro vibe from the last pair.
  20. That one looks like a Sistersville marble. Fluorescent, maybe Vitrolite, base on this dug Pennsboro.
  21. Happy birthday, buddy Bob! And thank you for all of your great "lounge acts"!
