  1. Nice box and marbles, hardly looks played with!
  2. I showed one of these bags above, the other went to Ron.
  3. Robin's Egg Colors are similar to (but different than) Alley's Blue Sky.
  4. . . . a tough marble to photograph.
  5. http://i1355.photobucket.com/albums/q711/a1mibs/Ravenswood/Ric146_zpsez1iagjl.jpg http://i1355.photobucket.com/albums/q711/a1mibs/Ravenswood/Ric145_zpssncpijaf.jpg http://i1355.photobucket.com/albums/q711/a1mibs/Ravenswood/Ric143_zpso5tldv9e.jpg

    Any Ideas?

I have my thoughts, but what do you think?
  8. Champion left and Ravenswood right. Transparent red/orange is not common on the Champions.
  9. I was wondering what that was - Satan makes more sense now. The hand gesture does too.
  10. This is all great stuff - the opener and holder are super. Does anyone recognize the character? He's got interesting hand gestures, legs and feet . . . reminds me a little of Pan.

    Vitro ID

Well, that will keep you busy. Have you seen Chuck's Chart?
  12. Here is a selection of Alley Agates from the Lawrence Glass Novelty Company site in Sistersville WV. One hundred and forty-four different marbles are shown (sizes vary considerably). Please excuse the dirt, out of rounds, as-mades and poor photos. All of these marbles were dug. Enjoy! P.S. I buy mint examples - PM me!
  13. John, Did Ron ID the Sistersville too? It looks a lot like some Ravenswoods. And I haven't seen a Sistersville quite like it.
  14. Whether or not you pull that pic off is entirely up to you. If you trust the ID, leave it. Anyone coming here should understand that IDing marbles is as much art as science. I am actually more interested in that Sistersville. And since I feel sort of bad about so much talk in a "Mostly Pics" thread, here is a Sistersville Alley - dug at the site.
