  1. @crashbelt Nice Onionskins - great holiday colors! @Chad G. That is a nice Onion, Chad, and that Maglite is really cool - I never would have expected that ghost core! I guess you really do have to "backlight them all", just like Art always says. ๐Ÿ™‚
  2. It's a cool game, John. I love playing old-style pinball. It's at least a buck a game to play restored machines these days though, at least around here.
  3. I tend to agree, the other possibility might be a CAC American Agate but . . . ?
  4. I don't think it's a Blue Zebra but it does look a little blue where the white base thins out over the dark striping glass.
  5. The first and second look like they might be the same style marble - dark (blue?) translucent base with white striping? The third looks closer to a Zebra type - white base with black striping? Kinda hard to tell from the pics, though - maybe I'm seeing things. ๐Ÿ™‚
  6. @akroorka That might be the coolest Multicolor Swirl I have ever seen - crazy man, it almost looks like a Michelangelo! Super bubbllcious Rainbo too!
  7. Thanks for fixing that up, @Jeff54. And thanks for bringing it to our attention, @bumblebee. This is an amazing piece of glassware. I would think it has to be the earliest example of millefiori on record. It's hard to imagine that it was made so long ago. And is that some sort of metal embellishment, like a hook maybe? It's truly remarkable.
  8. Industrial media balls are made for use in grinding/polishing mills - think rock tumbler media.
  9. There are a few pics here . . .
  10. You're a lucky guy, I can't find anyone around here to play with!
  11. @Fire1981 That's a crazy double ingot, Rick - nice Heaton box too! @Chad G. Those dug ones sure look nice in a group!
  12. I've found some of my best marbles in drawers I hadn't looked in for decades. lol Great find!
  13. They're all Spirals. ๐Ÿ™‚ 1 &2 are also referred to as Prizenames. 3&4 might be called Tricolor Spirals. I don't know of any particular collector names for these types.
  14. I think the "Marine Crystals" were Peltiers. Regardless, I think that may have been a name targeting the aquarium market. I'm pretty sure they were packaged under other names too. I hadn't thought about this topic for a while. ๐Ÿ™‚ The Vitros were "Marine Gems" (not Marine Crystals) and they were targeted to the aquarium market. They also packaged clearies as "Aqua Jewels" and "Exotic Glass Gems". Ravenswood put clearies in Buddy bags. Akro packaged "Glassies".
  15. That's a great color combination . . .
  16. It has to be UV reactive and should have some AV too, I think . . . Not mine.

    Berry Pink

It's probably just me, but I would want the marble to have more "pink" than blue and have better defined and wider "stripes" - like Rick's marble without any white.

    pelt? .55

Highly unlikely in my estimation . . .
