    Id please

I'd guess and Akro patch on the left, and perhaps a foreign marbles middle and right.

I'd say an Akro Moss Agate on the left (probably glows like nuts under UV). I'm not too sure about the others.

    Help id

I agree with Melissa, a couple of Rainbos and a Vacor.

I'd guess the first two are JABO Classics, and the the third may be JABO too.
  5. I'm glad you like them, Tommy. These were in the group of loose marbles that I purchased with the box. There were a bunch of nice Masters in the collection.
  6. Welcome to the Marble Connection! This is a lot to digest in a single post. It looks like mostly common vintage marbles - lot's of Peltier Rainbos, Vitros, WV Swirls, etc. On first pass, nothing jumps out at me as particularly valuable. And condition is very important to determining value so I wouldn't dare a guess from these photos.
  7. That'll be great - thanks! Here are a few I have posted in the past. pinch pontil . . . crease pontil . . .
  8. Hey Dave - better late than never, I guess. I was just wondering if yours glows . . . If you can't lay hands on it two and a half years later I'll understand. 😄

    Kokomo?

Thanks, Rick. I don't think I've seen a Kokomo "cross-through" before so I'm not quite sure what to think about this marble. It seems to fit Kokomo better than Pelt though. The Pelt cross-throughs I have seen are way more refined.
  10. Cool, thanks for showing these. Do the cut-offs on the opaque marbles look like they usually do on the transparent ones? A photo showing the cutoffs would be very helpful. 🙂
  11. It's really hard to make out any detail in the photos. The first looks like it might be a Master but I have no idea about the second.

    Kokomo?

Believe it or not, the surface on this marble is near "as made". The inside is full of furnace debris and not so many bubbles. The red looks right and it's oogly enough that I think it might be Kokomo. Any thoughts?

    ID help plz

I think they are all JABO, except the third, which I think is Vacor, and the fourth. which may be Vacor too but might be Asian.
  14. It's always nice to find"new" marbles - looks like there's a CAC in the second group.
  15. Good to see you here, Brian! There are a few photos of your work here on the site, but I sure would like to see more!
  16. A few more from the same collection . . . From 5/8" to just under 3/4".
  17. A nice clean Alley for Sunday Best . . .
  18. That is an beautiful display, David! How many years have you been working on it?
  19. I'll stick with Marble King. Both equatorial ribbons are usually the same color for Type II Tiger Eyes and the patches are different colors. The seams also look MK to me.
  20. Akro probably would have called it an Onyx (white spiral/colored transparent base). For an Auger (or Ribbon) Onyx (a collector/player name), the white spiral is like a flat ribbon that goes from the surface to near the middle of the marble - sort of like the auger blade on a post hole digger. Some people might consider yours an auger but others might want to see a flatter more ribbon-like spiral.
  21. And a favorite Alley, just for fun . . .
  22. It might be the nicest Cardinal Red I have . . .

    5 more

The first and second may be JABOs and the fourth is a Heaton Sweet Potato or maybe a Ravenswood Green Raven.
