  1. Not a PPP. I think Akro or maybe Master.
  2. If there are hints of blue in it I would say Ravenswood. Nice marble.

    5/8 Stumped

If it appears a little more toward salmon colored in hand I would say Ravenswood.

    4 Heaton?

The top ones look the most Heaton to me. Lower left might be Ravenswood and the lower right might be Alley, but I think some of these could go a few directions.

    Alley?

They look Alley to me, and I would try 0000 (super fine) steel wool on the rust.
  6. This could be related to the intensity (amount) of light being emitted from the different sources and not necessarily the wavelength.

Alley is my take on it.
  8. That is really interesting. Do you know if it was just decorative or if it had a particular use?
  9. A couple of my all time favorites!
  10. Looks like an Asian imperial type to me.
  11. Well, there is everything from soup to nuts in this lot, which spans many, many, years of marble production. All I can say is that I hope you find some good ones!
  12. @Fire1981 I've been pondering these for a while, narrowing things down in my mind. Does the white on any of them glow?
  13. You're on track, left and lower are Buttermilk variants and the upper is a Superior. The best Buttermilks have less white showing but these are really great marbles, regardless.
  14. Huh, I didn't even notice the blue until I enlarged the photo - i was thinking it was base showing through white or something - you know how it can look sometimes. It still looks foreign to me, I don't recognize it as anything American.
  15. I was thinking it might be a Sunset.
  16. Not really, those are Rick's initials. lol But now you know!
  17. I think that might be one of @Steph's favorite Vacors.
  18. @Fire1981 I'm on board with Ravenswood for the blue one but I think the red/brown is a killer Sistersville Alley. Check out marble #60 below . . .

    Baby Blue

I think that is a Heaton Robins Egg.
  20. I don't think it's an NLR. Looks more like a "burnt" Holly Berry to me.
