It is an early "Lined China" Marble. Made 1850-1900 or so Nice large size. here is a link to a similar size marble on Ebay Ebay China Marble -

I am very far from an expert on Guineas... That being said, 1) 7/8 Guinea is a extreme Rarity 2) Look at the cut lines, They look hand done not Machine 3) Colors and color combos are wrong. My summation it is a newer hand made marble made to look like a CAC Guinea. Just my Opinion. -

We were having some fun & being coy. It is a fake contemporary Guinea. The only thing worst than a fake contemporary Guinea is a Cracked fake contemporary Guinea. LOL I am always amazed people are willing to pay big prices without knowing what they are buying. JMHO of course. -
It was very Hard. As a example study group I feel it is invaluable. I will keep it with the original 40 marbles. It could be put back...I was very careful. LOL

Here are some Marbles from the Blackie Bag Shown Above. Note the Red replacement of the typical Black Band. That is where the Anti-Blackie name comes in. It is interesting most have a Red band completely around the marble. Some only Half.

The first photo is what I consider classic Opals. The other two are on opal bases.

I was taught an opal has to have 3 colors, one being Yellow. I do however have a box with one and two color Vitros on opal bases. LOL
