  1. What a stunner. I have the same combo with way less green and yellow though. Knowing Akro there has to be more combos out there. Without blends it's a tough find.
  2. From what I remember about he top right one it had a transparent blue base (hence being able to see bubbles), with ribbons of some colour under the surface that are opaque and look light blue. With red just on the surface. So my question is, is the base considered to be transparent on that mib? There is not a ton of it sure, but it looks like it makes up the base at least? Yes? No? My memory sucks sometimes and you have it inhand. I trust inhand over my memory anyday.
  3. Ok I found a pic. A pretty crappy one from when a Sony Macava was a good camera. Is this the one? It looks like I remember with the bubbles and all. The blue is transparent at least to the depth of the deepest part of the bubble. The one bubble is pretty shallow, the other a bit deeper. It has been a few years since I saw it, and info changes all the time in this hobby. At the time all the Pelt gurus were in fact around, and that's what they dubbed it. By now-a-days info does it still fit? Sorry for the crappy pic.
  4. I once had a Tiger Salamander that was nearly 13" long. He ate small mice and giant nightcrawlers like tic-tacs. They make great pets for kids.
  5. Hey I remember that one. I posted it for an I.D since I'm not a Pelt-pro, and Sub was what I got. I do remember that it was one odd little Pelt. Lots of transparent blue if I remember correcty, and the red is just on the surface. All the rest was under the surface covered with the trans blue with larger fissures of that blue sinking right to the middle of the marble. I can't remember if when back lit you could see through it? I think I remember some bubbles as well? I might have the auction pics of it. However I lost hundreds of pics when my harddrive died a few months ago. All I was able to pull off it was the back-up files and I'm not sure if it is in there. I'll look. Is it a Sub? Might be? There is Sub stuff in it LOL. A Pelt pro might be better to ask than me. I'm an Akronut. I'll dig for the pic.
  6. Wow what a box!!! More pics and info on those blue and orange ones please.
  7. My first impression was a Multi Coloured Swirl with extra straight seams? Neat marble.
  8. Sorry Ann wish I could help ya there. But Mark nailed it. It's the Mum find of the week. That's all the pics I have. Looks like a good size Naked ribbon core from here huh? Here is another find.
  9. Welcome Bob. There is a great I.D section here to help you out. For best results on getting an I.D, take several pics of the marble/marbles you want to I.D so we can get a look at any seams it/they may have. You will get better results posting pics of a few marbles at one time (2 maybe 3) rather than a group. People shy from group I.D's it seems. Marble On Dave
  10. Pretty sad when Photobuckets editing system is 10X better than Kodak.
  11. Oops Giant pics sorry. No Photoshop and Kodak sucks!
  12. All my pics are still stuck in the old dead one, so these will have to do. Mum find, range from 13/16" to 7/8"
  13. The one in the top left has an amber base as well. Not to easy to see either in the pics or inhand. I was told these were an early type and all had amber bases. I have had a few and all needed to be backlit to see the transparent amber in them.
  14. Here ya go. I think it was Spara? that had a whole box of these for sale not to long ago.
  15. Very cool. Pretty tough to get those little glowing buggers not to blur.
  16. Lets see what you have. Onions, Clown, Clouds, Divided Core, Solid Core, Lattice Core, Mica, Lutz, Clambroth, Indians, Submarines, Joseph Coats, Lightning Strikes, Sulphides.... ect ect. I'm sure I missed more than a few, so post pics of em. This should be some serious eyecandy. I'll start with a simple and rather sloppy little thing that I like for some reason? Besides the fact it's a marble of course.
  17. Wow! those are all something else. Very very cool. Those ones that look like 2 tight flattened Corks jammed together really appeal to both my love of Corks, and of all things funky. Love em!
  18. And another odd glower with a stained brownish base.
  19. The non-glowing Ace buddy to Rics weird glower.
  20. Not a Cork today. Blue and Green Popeye Patch (dug). That's one mean looking snake on your Ox Joe, and thanks for the new wallpaper Alan.
  21. Sure is an interesting board. Did they put numbers on boards? Or would this have been something the owner would have added themselves? Bun feet and holes say later style to me. I see some Transitionals there, couple of Wirepulls and the rest look like a mix of assorted mibs one would find in a Euro grouping.
  22. Sweeeeeet! Here is another group I have pics of for some reason?
