Pretty hard to find. I have a couple more someplace? Come in varying degrees of fuzziness. Should have a mild milk glass fire to them.

Might want to put the fuzzy white one in with your German Sparklers.
  3. Here is an early type transitional with purple and green. Not really a standard run marble but I had the pic on file.
  4. For sure there are way more purple and green colored marbles over here. I'll see what I can dig up. Here is the biggest Sparkler I have. The rest in the group are 1 1/8" or a bit under. Not sure how small they go 5/8"ish I guess. I'll look.
  5. Moldy Marbles. On the harder to find scale. I'll Check my Sparklers. Just over 1 1/8" I think is the biggest if I remember right.
  6. One old one mixed with Crease Pontil Transitional. Can you spot it.
  7. I like the ones with the "S" shape more than the 9's
  8. Sorry not for sale at the moment. Though the Blue Lat and the Banded Mica were pried from my fingers by a marble buddy who came over with cash. I did have time to photograph it before it left.
  9. No board with the group. I have period appropriate boards they can go on for now. I will get pics when I get some time.
  10. Nothing Bulgarian in there at all. I'll mail you the bag if you want it Steph.
  11. Looking at your pics of the pontil I would have to think it is faceted. Look really close with a loop and you might be able to see near imperceptible little angles on the smoothed part. Hard to see them in the pic but it looks like they should be there. The light reflection on the marble may shift and bend when hitting those angles as well depending on how big they are. It is a tiny marble but they should still show. As to your question of does rare mean valuable? In a nutshell no. After near 18 years selling marbles on ebay I found that a value of a marble is what people are willing to spend. It seems that eye appeal has more to do with value sometimes. I'm pretty sure that serious collectors of this type would love to own this one, and would bid. How much they would go is a ??? If listed properly on ebay with nice pics it would garner some interest for sure, but would not sell for as much as one with say oxblood and eggyolk the same size. Attached is a pic showing what a light reflection will look like on a facet. The right side one shows the full circle of the light reflection. The one on the left I shifted the angled part to make the reflection change. If that makes sense.
  12. Still a burnt Vacor Sunset. This pic from your first i.d request shows a light "orange peel" surface and typical wrinkles on larger Vacor. The fact you are from southern Ontario, a mecca for big Vacor marbles is another contributor. Finally as I said before I have seen these before. Not with as much brown as yours though.
  13. It would be great to see a pontil pic of the blue handgathered German peewee. If it does in fact have a faceted pontil and is 1/2" or smaller it would be one exceedingly rare marble.
  14. I Have seen Ajax printed ones at 1 1/8" but they were too beat up to spend 50 quid on. Why has this one never been mentioned before.
  15. I find it amusing to think that the original maker of this marble was just a lazy slob. Otherwise he/she would have swept off their workstation before making marbles. Probably only lasted a few weeks on the job before getting sacked. Whomever it was though produced one of the most unique marbles we have ever seen.
  16. The size and the yellow give this one away. Vacor Sunset that is a little burnt. I have seen these before.
  17. I agree. Little to no seams or obvious cutlines is pretty common to this type.
  18. A harder to find red colour is all. No Ox there. Nice marble.
  19. Banded Transparent Handmade. I have issues with this kind being called Indians. There is such a wide range to this type, and yes some can look like Indians. Not this one though.
  20. Buckskin family all day long. Too bad about the chunk missing, unless that is a weird reflection in the top right pic
