  1. Cross-through cats, far as I know, only appeared in Wales bags. I could very easily be wrong about this. The Azuma bags look like they are all 6 vane, non-crossed cats. The value is in the bags, not in the marbles they contain.
  2. I think the yellow one is Jabo-Vitro
  3. Don't know. Alley or Heathon or something I guess.
  4. I have seen a couple trays with helmets but none with these colors. It's at least vhtf if not rare. I think I saw a helmet tray at a show around $120, but I can't say if it sold or not.
  5. I would not worry about it. It's only one negative and it was 9 months ago.
  6. This has very nice colors and pattern. If it were mint+ I would expect over $100, maybe over $150. Near mint 8.6, maybe it's worth $20. In good or low near mint, say in $5 to $10 range.
  7. For what it's worth (probably nothing), I never liked "end of day".
  8. It's more simple than that. A cloud has only one pontile.
  9. Hmmm? Jello vanes? What's that?
  10. Most of the digs were illegal, like tomb robbing, so of course they were not well publicized. I don't think they are still going on but who knows? If I had a secret gold mine I don't think it would be smart to advertise it. You have to find your own gold mine.
  11. There's one or two in there I would have IDed as Akro...
  12. Looks like a blue brick, stunning marble.
  13. You would sell a couple at $20 each or I would take them all at $1 each. I am no expert, actually not even experienced, but I would try in the $12-18 range.
  14. Me too, it was Len Henning. Same person?
  15. Ill go with Duffy's estimate. 5 cents / marble sounds about right.
  16. Probably a killer spiderman but still looks like it might be a submarine. The thing about submarine is that its not just a blue base, its a blue+clear base. Usually a lot whispier than this looks but dunno. Is there obvious clear glass on top of the blue? Even as just a spiderman its top of the line, maybe go for more like $60. Looks like it's in great shape. Btw Kevin, superboy is a little different, needs to have a hint of yellow. The name was coined to cover superman wanna-bes long after the spiderman nic. 1.25 inches, wow thats huge! Lots of shelf appeal in that bright eye looking back at you. Not sure of value but $50 seems a little low.
  17. I see a lot of camera shake in the mica picture. The best to correct that is to get more light which cuts the exposure time. Second best, just hold the camera steadier by propping your wrists or elbows on something. It helps a lot to snap the picture by pressing and holding the shutter release. You add a lot of shake when you let up on the shutter release, so don't let up until after the picture is in the bag.
  18. The red on blue swirl could be a Peltier spiderman ($30 mint) or a Peltier submarine ($300+ mint). It looks like a sub from here but we would need closeups. None of the other marbles in that group exceed $10 but still a very nice group. The larger red/black/blue marble is interesting, looks like a Vitro elite. The agate shooter in with the bennintons has a striking bullseye pattern which brings a premium. The pinwheel china is better than average, as well as the brighter teal/brown lined chinas.
