Is Vitro a possibility on the one up front? I think I've seen some shooters with those colors referred to as Vitro. As far as the question of who made marbles with purple, might be easier to ask who didn't

Cool, if that is a hallmark on the stick it should indicate at least what age the silver part is (which could narrow down the possibility of the marble being original). C'mon, no 'end-of-cane' jokes yet?? yuk-yuk (...groan)

wow that's pretty nice. The one I remember had a ribbon that was more like II (if you picture the space between the two blue stripes as being the white ribbon). Kind of like driving down a blue road with a white center line. lol... wish I had a picture to help such a far-fetched description. I'll dig out some wirepulls and see if I can find something close

This is interesting, wirepull marbles are not often discussed or appreciated as other types but I sure like them The quality of glass in the 2nd pic looks much better than the 1st pic - which could indicate a different manufacturer or newer marble. Although it might be something simpler like a different batch from a couple days later. Sidenote: one of my favorite marbles when I was a kid was a wirepull (and as I remember it) the white had a solid opaque blue stripe on either side of the 'ribbon', instead of just one side . Almost every one I've seen since, the color only on one side of the white.

The label on the mesh bag? The ones I've seen don't have any printing on the labels at all.

...with mica? Nice marbles either way but Mica would be over the top

I agree it's unusual to see all those colors at once on a SINGLE vintage marble from this category, but I'm pretty sure they are from the same palette you'd see in most of them to some degree Ie: eggyolk/ox/clear, blue/ox/white, aqua/ox, clear/ox/white, etc. seem to be par for the course It just looks odd because these have a combination of multiple colors all together that you wouldn't expect in a single marble.

For what it's worth I think they are old(er) although highly unusual examples. And by the way, the rest of the group (that nobody else is talking about) are some nice lookers as well.

Nice marble, don't see those too often with the three bands of Lutz especially that size. Not seeing the Indian part of it unless referring to base color and precision banding, but wow. Good find

Sometimes I've seen the term used if the layer is translucent without the white dividers ie: a latt core totally encased by a translucent layer of green Also seen a different type like those with translucent color(s), divided by white, like most of those pictured. I think they're great

You see this more often on Micas than other cane marbles. Maybe it's the glass clarity (or lack of other colors/patterns) that makes it more visible on Micas
