  1. Bottom right is Marble King Rainbow. Middle row, second from right ... I think it's a Vitro. Thought of Akro also, but the slight blue I think I see is making me side with Vitro. Bottom row, second from right, is interesting. My first thought on colors was Akro, but then on structure I thought Master, and then I had second thoughts on the colors and thought Vitro. Then I considered Marble King, lol. More views please.
  2. I haven't learned the names of the different styles. I have a couple of editions of Paul Baumann's Collecting Antque Marbles so I could take a stab at that if needed. But for now I will just bump this for you.
  3. Looks good to me. Since this is such as specialized set of questions, I'll move this thread over to the main chat forum.
  4. That is interesting. Because I wasn't familiar with that style of cat eye being modern. Educational.
  5. Steph

    Jabos?

I'm not sure either. Jaob is a good possibility. To me the glass on the bottom right one looks like it could be older, but I sure don't have a different guess for it.
  6. 1. Akro Royal patch 2. Maybe a Vitro Whitie 3. That patch seem irregular so it is possibly a Peltier. 4. Pictures of seams might change my mind, but am leaning toward Peltier Rainbo 5. Possibly another Akro patch 6. Possibly another Akro patch 7. More views could change my mind but I think this could be an Akro corkscrew. (Does it have a black ribbon which starts at the "top" and wraps around to the "bottom"? 8. Maybe another Akro patch. 9. Peltier Rainbo I posted this thread recently to show what features can help your or us with your ID's. https://marbleconnection.com/topic/24889-seams-cutlines-and-poles-and-photo-tips/ It also shows some samples from various makers which you could find helpful. It is still a work in progress but I'm nearing the end of the material I had planned on including.
  7. Above and below the Japanese Wales type marble are Vitro Conquerors. To the right of the Wales marble is probably another Vitro. Vitro or Akro on bottom right -- am leaning Vitro. Vitro All-Red at top left. The swirls in the second group look like Jabos.
  8. That is too many marbles per post, and too many marbles per thread. You need to help us to help you. If we start saying things like "the third marble in the second row of the fifth picture in post #4 is an Akro corkscrew", well, that will become very dizzying. That said the the bottom marble in your first picture in the last post is a Peltier Rainbo, and on the top row of that picture, the second marble from the left is an Akro corkscrew. I really would like to help . Just please start a new thread for each group, and please consider posting fewer marbles per group. Thank you.
  9. Thanks for posting. Have shared this with someone already. Good luck to you.
  10. Jose, the black and white is either Peltier or Akro. More views needed to see if the black has the Pelt patch shape, or the Akro corkscrew shape.
  11. Test to start a thread with one group of marbles. Helps to have more than one view of each marble in the group. You have some Akro, some Peltier, some slags and some West Virginia swirls. If you're interested in reselling marbles, keep in mind that condition is very important to value .
  12. Not much value, probably less than a dollar per marble unless you found the right person to buy them from you for more at an antique booth, say. They're commons. Just nice to have vintage.
  13. The blue green one would be the only one I would think might be Jabo. And I wouldn't necessarily think it about that. WV swirls on the others.
  14. Left column are Marble Kings. Two vintage and two probably modern. Middle column: Top is Peltier Rainbo. Third down is Vitro Blackie. Right: WV swirl on top and maybe a modern Asian on bottom (or maybe an Akro depending on what the seams look like).
  15. I think #4 is an Alley Ghost. Since #2 and 3 look similar but without the red, maybe they are also Alley. 8 through 10 appear to be more WV swirls.
  16. My only thought is Jabo. Possibly an early 2000's one.
  17. The red white and blue at the top is very pretty. I wish I knew those better.
  18. These could be Peltier multicolor rainbo, Akro cork, wonky Akro cork, and maybe another Akro but would like to see more of the ribbon before I say that
  19. I'm not sure. Thought about that, but the coloring is strange. And I can't tell if that's popeye style filaments or something else. Do you have other popeyes to put it up against?
  20. Welcome. This one is an Akro corkscrew.
  21. My beautiful Ric is here and I'm disagreeing with him on two IDs! What am I doing?!! I would have thought Master here, Ric. I'm not familiar with Akro brushed patches.
