This one appears to be handgathered. A "transitional".
  2. Thank you, Kirby. This is from my Jabo Last Dance keeper box. Next ..... your blackest black
  3. Here's another one of my favorites ....
  4. They say leaving marbles in an aquarium will do that to them. No strong opinions about restoring. It has a certain charm as is.
  5. Mine is from the Jabo Last Dance run of 2008.
  6. Love it even more! Thanks for the bump. We need to get this thread going! Here's one of the best marble photos I ever took.

Those are keepers. I don't know what they are. I've tried to learn the red/white/blue but with no luck. I bet if I had one like that one the right, it would motivate me to finally learn them. Is that oxblood on the left? Looks like oxblood. So I'm guessing Akro on that one.
  9. It was exciting just to watch you have a chance to get that. If I ever found something like that .... *happy dreams*
  10. Thank Lou! ..... and thank you too.
  11. I've had that on before. Been awhile.

Akro, yes. Akro's company name was Moss Agate. A collector's name for it is Blue Eggyolk. As far as I'm aware, they didn't make popeyes that big.

    Transitional?

Yes! Sharp. That spiral is gorgeous. Nice pictures.
  14. I think the National Line started in the late 1920's. I should know that for sure ... and I should probably know when the Gropper-Peltier connection was established. But I don't offhand.

    Transitional?

Both have a spidery cutline? Yes, I think they would fall under the name "transitional". P.s., both are nice but I'm loving that green one.
  16. Keep 'em. No high dollar ones so far. A nice little vintage group in a world where little vintage groups are getting harder to find.
  17. I have no confident answer. Just helping with the bump by highlighting those A's.
  18. p.s., now I think all vintage.
  19. #1 is some kind of patch -- possibly Akro. Sticking with Master on #2 Glad I saw the first picture on #3 because I still think it's probably Peltier, but it sure has a weird fold in it. Still in the general "West Virginia swirl" area on #4 and #5. I think #6 might be a Master. Master or Akro. #7 might be a Vitro.
