  1. That's some exotic fruit. I am calling it an ambrosia salad.
  2. I get out so little that I was unaware that the decision had been made to preserve the Budweiser bottles. There was a big ruckus about them being removed, and I got all bothered about it, but I became resigned to them being gone. All things change, right? So I'm glad the owner decided to preserve the landmark.
  3. Oh, I didn't see this when I posted. "Spiral" is usually what I say, but if you see me saying "snake" please forgive me. I'm more of a joiner now.
  4. They look a whole lot like my Tribute to Friendship group. March 6th, 2009
  5. I did not recall that one in particular. But what a beautiful mess! I love it. You gotta wonder how that one escaped into the general population.
  6. I think of 'em mostly as clear based with ribbons that are the opposite of augers. Because that's my mental impression of the mathematical intersection of all the ways I've seen the category defined. My instinct is to be as much of a purist as I can until the opposing forces become so strong that the dam breaks and I go with the flow. But I can see why someone would use it for the whole set of transparent based corkscrews which don't have some other obvious name such as popeye.
  7. Definitely cool to see the distinctive Bogards in the Champion mix.
  8. I'm not seeing the structures I would recognize as Christensen.
  9. Exquisite really is the word. The top left one with the tan is out of this world.
  10. Thanks guys. I never realized that about the Champ bags -- nice assortment in that one. And I do love that freaky green on in the blister pack.
  11. oooowwwwgggggggghaaahhhaaaaaaeeeeeeeee ^^ trying to type the sound I that just escaped me at the beginning of that display
  12. I still have a hole in my life from the time that I destroyed my back-up disk with my S & T folders on it -- from ten years ago -- when I had to back-up on multiple DVD's. I'm sure I have most of whatever was lost. But I still wonder. I'm stalling trying to think of a good adjective for that. So far the best adjective I can think of is "indescribable". VERY interesting.
  13. Yes! I'm really getting the itch to make one of those.
  14. I gotta think those are actually Vitros, and still it could be a legit bag. Bill Heaton had a good relationship with Art Fisher of Vitro. Could have gotten Vitros to help fill orders if production fell short.
  15. Since we're being pink
  16. Thanks for the detailed shots. Again you show why I so often think "Heaton or Cairo" in an ID and am not able to try to narrow it down. I think probably there were more Heatons in circulation (can anyone confirm?) ... so odds might Heaton a lean in ID's. It's neat to see the trans, and the trans blue is very pretty.
  17. Toys were so much better then! Even a little horse without movable legs .... better than what we have now* .... so much cooler. Hey, I'm not biased. *except for transformers ... not much cooler than transformers
  18. I'll take the blue calligraphy and the trans! My address is 555 .....
