  1. The glass distribution is slag-like. However, the texture of the white looks non-American, so unless other views reveal a certain kind of pontil, it's not in the group I would usually call a "slag". I'm gonna say not Akro. Am trying to decide between Europe and Japan because of the texture of the white.
  2. They came together? Wonder if the Vaseline glass ones should be a clue. Who would have made those? [Edit: You say "yellow slags"? ... I'd guess they'd be in the "swirl" category ... though other views in other light might make me see differently.]
  3. Nice solid ribbon. I don't have a good feel for who the options would be for a meaty ribbon like that. Would like to someday. Don't now. p.s., agree that it's a swirl rather than a slag.
  4. So now it's three adults none of whom eat the same kind of food as each other. I thought Bob and I might have more food tastes in common. But that's okay. We'll still share an Asian meal some day, I'm sure.
  5. These were mine once. Very early on in my collecting, before I learned which ones I shoulda kept. Set is thoroughly dispersed now.
  6. Has this one been asked about? I just ran across it in my photobucket and I can't remember if it was asked about. Can't even quite remember where I saw it. I guess someone posted it on Facebook and I was curious? But did I follow up?
  7. Are these considered oddballs with the white / uncolored stripe?
  8. Hunh .... this is cool. Not one I would have felt good ID-ing. In fact I wouldn't have gotten it at all through the computer. This is the kind of range of variation I like to see. We see the "classics" (which I love) often. So it's also nice to see some not so classic.
  9. Oh, Dale's is American? Hmmmm ... wonder if that could be them .... hey, someone want to write 'em and see when they were founded?
  10. Well that's pretty darn cool.
  11. So .... no one save those triple pix? How could we have let those get away?!
  12. too hot too hot too hot hot hot hot hot toooooooooooooooooooooohot
  13. I woulda thunk the figures would be made elsewhere and bought by the person encasing them in glass. Wouldn't have expected the clayworks and glassworks to be at the same site. But now I realize I have no basis for that idea and might actually have seen an ad (or letterhead) which suggested otherwise.
  14. Such character. Nice to meet you, Alan.
  15. Bo Stiff posted a triple ingot sparkler. Tome, from Australia, posted the triple ingot cat. But I'm not finding pix. Shoot.
  16. Here's a Triple Rainbo that Rick (RAR) posted. 3/4".
  17. Somewhere, somewhen I remember a double (and maybe even a triple) Sparkler. I also remember a double cat's eye -- a foreign one -- and in a way it seems that would be even more rare because that's not something you could get from a dig.
