  1. Okay ... I got my boxes out and I am now holding a Pennsboro Alley which has some strong similarities.
  2. Gosh, you guys, I can't shake the feeling that I oughta recognize this. Ric, are you out there?
  3. Were we supposed to see something in particular? Or just enjoy all the variety?
  4. I will use Google translate. Thank you for thinking of us.
  5. Could be. At 1", I'm gonna think Alley. And the little one is indeed very similar. Looks like you're on the right track.
  6. Linda Simmons posted some confetti-like marbles which she said her Dad made at Vitro in West Virginia. Said he called them "Sprinkles". There was more variety than the classics we saw from Anacortes. They included some with colored transparent bases. But I'm gonna guess that they were even more limited in number than the Anacortes version of the Confetti.
  7. Here are a couple of pix Patry posted: Scanned by Patry from the Vitro book -
  8. It's still lovely. Fun group of marbles. Mary had a little lamb, little lamb ....
  9. aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh *happy sigh*
  10. Oh nose! It disappeared. (Can others still see it? ... I hope it's just me.)
  11. What a lovely display Very enjoyable on a Saturday morning

    Tagging?

We have the ability to tag someone with the @? What other spiffy features do we have that I'm not aware of yet? Quick, somebody read my mind and fill in the gaps.
  13. I'd call that a Popeye Patch.
  14. My first quick thought was Vitro. But then my next, more solid thought was Akro. I'm going with Akro. Yep. Akro. Final answer.
  15. Oh gosh, I don't know either. It's not an Akro style I recognize, but Dani often comes up with Akros I haven't seen before. I don't recognize it as any style I'm familiar with for any marble. Such a nice clean base.
  16. I remember it. It's been available at least twice in the past few years, right? I don't know what's fishy about it though. I haven't tried to compare fonts or anything. Anyone have a "good" version of similar boxes?
  17. oh so nice. The top one needs to be brought out again next July 4th. Okay, so blue stripes aren't a thing ... but ... nice.
  18. That has enough colors in it that one of our swirl people might be able to recognize it. Possibly I should recognize it. "One of these days" I need to make a data base ordered by color. But for now I'd probably still have it in my generic West Virginia swirls box.
