  1. I wonder if Edna knows a name for those. Trying to remember if I should remember .......
  2. [No opinion here. Just peeking in to say that whatever it turns out to be, there is no reason to delete -- it's a good discussion to have -- with good photos for comparison.]
  3. Not sure how you could tell if it was a jobber box. Could be straight from the manufacturer -- what they might send to a jobber or general store.
  4. For Carnelians, I expect to see some of the green glow -- in the tan areas. There might be some without it, but without the green glow it's harder to say yes to Carnelian.
  5. My first thought was wishing it would turn out to be Carnelian, but I also don't see it at this time. What does it look like under a blacklight? I still don't have an alternative guess.
  6. I don't see slag -- coz in addition to the white and reddish, there seem also to be more clear looking areas. I don't know what I'm seeing.
  7. ????? Maybe someone is mistaking the Vacors for vintage? ..... but maybe someone else will spy something that I'm also missing.
  8. Very nice. I had a sudden vision of the board that my folks got from the gas station -- one with holes in it that we were supposed to fill in with presidential coin premiums that we would also get from the gas station. That's gonna be a fun board to fill in.
  9. Another classic. You're building such a great collection.
  10. That is a LOT of peas. Delicious.
  11. Maybe one day I'll get used to the amount of detail you get. But today I am once again stunned.
  12. I'm actually working quite hard today ... but I'm worn out so I'm looking at cats.
  13. No, they don't seem to pop up too very often.
  14. That's rather starry also. Lovely.
  15. One of Edna's Salazars in honor of the holiday
  16. Uh oh ... glad you showed us these others. So far everything looks modern. That Bennington looks very weird -- I don't know what anyone was trying to do with it -- gonna guess it was a recent project though. If glass, the ones which started the thread could be ground down from something else. Cullet is sometimes ground into marbles and ends up with cool patterns. I'm not the best person to send marbles to. I would try to look them over and return them promptly but I'm in the middle of packing for a move and not always good with timely mail. *sheepish*
