  1. I never thought I would go to a show. I am getting closer to being willing/able to travel. This year? I am not thinking so, but I'll take myself by surprise whenever it finally happens.
  2. Akro Moss Agate on the red/white here.
  3. The blue and whites could all be Akro Moss Agates. I don't recognize the brown one and it's not a view I'm comfortable with ID-ing from. I suppose it could Akro also. The other thing I would consider is Vitro.
  4. Confident of Akro Blue Eggyolk on the right. Not sure if we have Akro or some more traditional West Virginia swirl on the left. The blues and whites are so close between the two marbles that I am really wondering about the left possibly also being Akro.
  5. From that time period, I am reasonably sure that you have hand-faceted aggies. There were some onyx marbles in California rounded by machine, but I think your agates are from Germany and hand-faceted.
  6. Top right here is an Akro Limeade. Middle could be an Akro Blue Eggyolk (something is making me hold back on saying for sure with just one view). Bottom left is an Akro Oxblood marble whose collector's name I don't recall. Those are are valuable marbles today.
  7. You have a lot of Akro Agates, the most popular glass marble of the 1930's. And you have a few West Virginia swirls.
  8. These are stone aggies. These were prized by marble players in your father's day.
  9. I'd put them in with my stash of unidentified West Virginia swirls. But the swirl gurus are getting better and better these days, so I wait to hear what they say.
  10. How sure are you about no smaller? I seem to recall seeing assorted sizes. I recall being surprised and covetous. But that recollection is from about 15 years ago and is not to be trusted.
  11. In the category of banana cat's eyes, black bananas have special appeal. You have one of those. Again, not high dollar but wouldn't be surprised to see someone able to get $10 from it.
  12. Also, you have many cat's eyes, which in general wouldn't be considered valuable at all. But you have a lot of one of the most popular styles -- the Japanese "cross through" cat's eye. And your cross-throughs are mostly three-way cross-throughs which are even more popular. I looked on ebay and see some one-way cross-throughs selling for $10 or more apiece. Those are being sold by a popular seller with a large following and great photographs, so he can get higher prices. Another one-way cross-through sold for just $1. But yours are three-way, so maybe you could get in the 10's or higher. At this point I should probably post a diagram explaining what the heck I mean by cross-throughs. But I'm rather tired. I know there are some pix floating around. Maybe someone else can beat me to finding them.
  13. Hi. Welcome. My first thought is "not substantial worth". But you have an Akro oxblood at the top of this picture. And I'm curious about the marble to the right of the oxblood.
  14. I don't see it as too big for Atmosphere
  15. Interesting. I could see CAC possibilities. The white is not as solid-looking as I would expect for CAC, making me hold back. But I wouldn't be surprised if it was.
  16. At that size with that pattern, I think the marbles were made by Jabo-Vitro sometime between 1992 and 2007.
  17. Hi. Welcome. I love ceramics. Great history. I can't remember if I've seen one of yours before or not. I will be on the lookout now.
  18. First guess Jabo. Second Vacor. Third Chinese. Fourth a WV swirl, with a lean toward the more modern WV swirls. Peltier is not on the list.
