  1. Ron’s in lots of books you will discover. He will always be the Godfather of West Virginia Swirls.
  2. Most of the marbles in the bag are from 2003, but I see a few that are not and that is unusual for those dated bags. There is a Tie Dye lookalike in 2003, but that looks like a reall 99 Tie Dye instead of the 2003 version. There is a 98 (sort of red white and blue) and a Spring 99 (jade colored) marble in there too.
  3. freaking JABOs (these ones aren’t Heatons). Have to be JABOs if same type is found together. Just trying to have some fun
  4. The ones in the middle row are the ones it looks like to me. They are 3/4”.
  5. Looks like a JABO Sammy’s Big Brother to me
  6. Most Vitros are patch construction and most JABOs are swirls. Good starting point to differentiate them
  7. Here are some factory dug Cairos in blue/white for more chances to compare
  8. They are just different variations of white/blue Ravenswoods
  9. I haven't figured out a reliable way to tell the moss agate Masters and Akros apart (hasn't been a real area of interest for me yet). Is there a relaible way?
  10. I believe I have a note about it in my run list. It was one of the Tribute members I think. Sturtz knows. Jeff Hall aka "Truck"
  11. Maybe it’s easier to see some other types separated in my tray
  12. comparing marbles to known examples is without equal. Here are some known white base with blue swirl Ravenswoods. Sure there are others not included in this group but its a more relaible comparison to a number of Ravenswoods than you will be able to find anywhere else.
  13. some Jackson blues for comparison
  14. yes-back in November 2015 there was a Blenko Run. Both 5/8" and 3/4" marbles were made according to my notes. Let me see if I have a pic of the marbles...
  15. After reading the colors…yes JABO. On my phone it looks like blue with transparent green and I couldn’t think of a match.
  16. It very well may be Ravenswood.
  17. I have transparent green Jackson’s that are UV reactive. My Ravens and Alox are not UV reactive. The white isn’t spread out across the whole marble on any of the Jackson’s though like yours
  18. Actually, the fact that the white is UV reactive is EXTREMELY helpful in this situation. I haven’t really even checked any of my simple transparent green swirls to see what’s UV reactive and what isn’t.
  19. And these are also transparent green Ravenswoods in the upper right of a different type (although some people believe the group is Champion).
  20. There are lots of UV reactive JABOs, but that’s just for informational purposes for you
  21. Hahaha. Of course there are JABOs like that too…but wasn’t even going to go there.
  22. Simple Transparent swirls are tough to accurately attribute unless they have obvious pattern clues. Here are examples of the transparent green Ravenswoods I have in my collection for a comparison. Mine are Ravenswood for sure in this case
