  1. Yes it is documented Bogard stapling headers over old stock Heaton bags in the literature (probably PAM book). The opaques are not JABO. Most think they are likely Heaton (I still hold an undocumented thought that Bogard could have made a few simple opaque swirls), but Jack himself has no memory of Bogard making them.
  2. I only did it for a short while several years back. I opened more than 5 but probably less than 10. I also only found clearies and what looked like lead shot in the ones that weren’t marbles. I have heard of patterned marbles being found, but didn’t find any myself. Messy, fun, and dangerous when there is still propellant left.
  3. I have melted bottles in campfires many times. It takes several hours, but I am talking about relatively small campfires burning for probably less than 12 hours. Just saying. I can’t explain the chemistry, but have seen it happen repeatedly. Very deformed bottles from campfire heat alone.
  4. There are still a variety of cateye makers in foreign countries both past and present that we have zero info about. There are several that we have a glimpse into what they made too. Some we know a fair amount about. Just sharing that general info. A ton of international research still needs to take place all over the globe.
  5. I have bought all 3 colors of that box with Ravenswoods in them. Just sharing that info.
  6. Just showing a couple examples
  7. Practically all the companies made amber transparent swirls. Telling them apart is extremely difficult unless they have telltale patterns or additional colors which they typically don’t.
  8. Looking at the billesentete site and there is one including some white in the very first pic of them. Just sharing info…I do not know who made this marble.
  9. Does anybody reading this have a decent sized group of 5:8” sunflowers to share a pic of. Not sure if multiple runs of the 5/8” were made, but somebody must have a couple hundred to share a pic of. That would be helpful in ruling them out.
  10. All 3 from 2003 I believe
  11. Its not an Ace, its a Black Odyssey. Here's a group shot of the whole run
  12. It looks like a JABO Black Odyssey Run. Is it about 3/4”?
  13. Mojo-yours look like Akros.
  14. Look like Vitro Anacortes Classics
  15. My logos are all in there along with a spattering of other euro sparklers
  16. I have never seen a peewee sized Euro sparkler before. Would you kindly confirm the size. Great find! I collect these..also have Bonus, Ajax, and le chat in addition to Bonux.
  17. Orange is even prettier in their wirepulls
  18. Even the brown/purple with orange are harder to find than the blue with orange. The green and orange is harder to find by far. The 3 colored ones on white are also harder to find. Pic for reference. I do love the Winnie color combo like the original pic in this thread with blue and yellow on white.
