  4. I can't tell if its old or new. But I don't think it was a Bulgaria marble. The Bulgaria marbles are loaded with air bubbles Just my two cents.
  5. I too should have bid, I have seen them ant they are great. I forgot to bid and then Bernie had them. Congradulations to Bernie!!!!
  6. I think they were custom made as a pull for a ceiling lamp or something similar. Anyways please count me in on this giveaway. :-))
  7. My two cents Well I arrived at the hotel on Wednesday afternoon. The hotel is located straight Across the street from the Des Moines international airport. You won't need to rent a car for this show because the hotel is pretty much self contained. You can walk to the hotel from the airport or call the hotel shuttle. The hotel has a descent restaurant/deli open from 6:30 AM to 10:30 PM Serving good food from cold cereal to prime rib. And a in house store/snack shop. On Wednesday there were lots of rooms open for marble hunting, by Thursday there was about 40 or so and I think Friday there were 50+ rooms. Chad had the details down and deserves a round of applause for all his hard work. From what I could see it ran smooth as silk. Thanks Chad There were lots of great marbles available. Seems like pelts are very popular and I was told that handmades are too. I was able to ad several handmade marbles to my collection including a pair of 2-1/4 same cane latts with great color, a 1" black and white clam, not to mention a few others. I will try to get some pictues up this week. Also I will be in the south west part of Minnesota all week if anybody has any handmades for sale and want to get together please email me at [email protected] to see if we can put a meeting together. Randy Conway

Thanks Randy Conway Randy@ linkline.com The show Des Moines Marble Show June 7, 2014 Airport Holiday Inn, 6111 Fleur Drive, Des Moines, IA 50321 Ph: 515-287-2400 Contact: Chad Cline, 515-205-3569
  9. Personaly the elephant looks the most interesting to me. If there are all mint condition the price may be in line, but whether you could flip them for a quick profit above the 800 is hard to say. Now if they are not mint or if they are repaired in anyway then 800 is most likely way to high. I would like to see more pictures of the elephant if possible. Randy
  10. Guess you can always come down in price but its hard to go up. They probably think it's old and really cool
  11. Jobs these days are hard to come by. Being the manager of a Wal-Mart is a great accomplishment. Randy Conway and no I don't work for Wal-Mart I just have respect for a guy that gets up in the morning and goes to work to support his wife and kids.
