These are OBVIOUSLY petls. Only 1 had a seam The lower left had no seam and is a pelt as well And LOOK at the colors and patterns I swear that yellow marble is a pelt Some pelt guru chime in please

Pelt is all I can think of I had this with alleys from the lot I picked up. I keep going back to it. It says pelt to me, regardless of me not seeing seams The colors, the glass, the base glass, the shape of the ribbons even All say pelt to me

Peltier Multi-Colored....what
Gnome Punter replied to Gnome Punter's topic in General Marble & Glass Chat
Not at all What I NEED is a phone call so I can articulate what I am seeing without having to take so many photos and transfer them to my desk top from my phone, then uplod, then post....It's a pain. My fan fried on my 7850 and I am not going to risk high resolution image and multiple programs going at the same time and fry the entire card I have loved this card since I got it in 2011. They are still over 200.00 a pop for the 2g 256bit, which for a 3 year old card is a testament to it's strengths If it ends up going after I replace the fan I will buy the same thing again. Best card I have ever had I have just listed a Sunset, except it was sideways. It looks like a plus or a cat eye. White goes 1 way, red the other NOW, I am looking at another, that has the white line, then upper left is all red and lower left is all red. Just odd crap I have not seen before OR I need someone I can text pics too whom knows petls. I LOVE hearing "Oh,it's called a blah, blah" rather than hearing "Oh, it's just an ol rainbo". It's just cooler to be honest. It's what I disliek msot about Akros as well. I mean.....If I say Akro agate cork, Halloween colors...it points to ONE marble....why not call it a Halloween Anyway I digress Were there REAL NASTY,dark galaxys that were single stream millers ? -
yes, I have several of these that I had in my MK bees. Kind of something I did early on as a simple glance shows the yellow is a completely different hue. Almost butter colored instead of yellow

Peltier Multi-Colored....what
Gnome Punter replied to Gnome Punter's topic in General Marble & Glass Chat
If you look at my 1st image, it's 2 different shades of yellow 1 , the bottom, is bright The top is cream yellow or buttermilk yellow If you look at the back lighted image you can REALLY see it is actual yellow -
I have dozens of Multi colored rainbo and swirls. My 1st with yellow in it as well. Not sure if it is a rare or just a "thing". It's condition had me about to toss it in the crap jar, but those 2 extra colors put me of a mind to take images Green base Orange Blue Yellow Black streaks Did not want to fiddle with finding my macro lenses so I utilized back lighting to show the black lines. It seems the yellow replaced the white I see in some

Keep up the examples please. I have found 2 in this thread in my pile. I thought a marble i had was a vitro and now I see it is a peltier Surfer I have so many odd pelt color combinations now from the pick-up I assume they cannot all just be called "Rainbo" I will have to pull some out and take photos..I hate photography. I have a Multi-colored except it has an extra color, yellow, with the Orange, white and blue, on the green glass base. I will have to find out what that off color does for the naming Will add it to the ID section
-
I guessed as much. The Orange ring texture of the skin had me concerned I found my 1st "In the wild" lot today. They need to make a book on peltier "oddity" and uncommon marbles for people whom do not chase pelts

I see a line indention or is it a reflection ?

If you get an email from Manylittle [email protected] Do not click on the links Seems she let herself get hacked. I did get a smile out of it, but I am sure she spewed her anger in more directions than mine, so be warned.....do not click on that quaint "loveninja" link iloveninja is set up for password phishing and malware. After reviewing it;s parent directory I saw a spam redirect from aol.com with a subroot :mail, so it seems she got tricked into log in to her email server from their site. If you did follow the link go to the following URL and download http://www.safer-networking.org/private/ Install. If you do not care to do so, do not create a back-up. Since you are not going to mess with your regedit then you will not need it. Run the update Run the scan Remove what is suggested Then click on immunize, then click it again. The 1st time is a checksum for current protections, the second click applies it Spybot is all I have been using for 4 years now. Superior to any product. be sure to click to download the FREE version as it is for home users. Those whom got an email, but did not click the link, kudos for paying attention

Handmade To Look Like Cac Guinea?
Gnome Punter replied to VTAndrea's topic in General Marble & Glass Chat
You believe he ignored my messages ? As I reviewed his listings, the day this thread was made, I think 4 of the marbles were in the same family. Modern made to look old I was wanting to ask questions, sort of sleuth the marbles origins, but nope.... -
That 4th one looks like a re-heat fail to me. the 3rd and 5th are spectacular

Pretty sure Clyde would not want his family handling his marble affairs. He seemed to see "us" as his family and those of blood relations as parasites. Clyde send my youngest son a beautiful fossilized fish for his birthday several months ago. He also liked fossils and thought it would be a nice, encouraging gift. I sent him a white peltier slag that was 11/16 that he acted as if it were one of his "Grails". The guy was what made this hobby the most fun for me. I kept sending him and odd peltier I found. I msut have sent him 50 Yin/yang pelts

kokomo or possibly Vitro What do the poles look like
-
On 2nd photo Top right and middle are Kokomo to me, left top looks almost Akro, below it looks vitro No clue on bottom or right Per 1st photo not sure tbh. Seams look right but have not seen those colors

His message said he had been hospitalized for an infection that had nearly killed him. He had a venous ulcer on his leg

Everything else ends tonight Board members get gifts with purchases I do my best to make people happy so it's not .10-1.00 marbles I give away, usually better. I try to gift along the lines of the purchase. So, if anyone bids and wins, message me here so I know it is you

Another baffling issue is why is this one sitting at 10.00 http://www.ebay.com/itm/Akro-Agate-Aventuring-mossy-patch-NM-18-8-/331320124468 Yah, I know, I added a G instead of an E in the title. That was the 1st patch I had ever seen with so much AV in it. Most had specks I figure it has to be 1 of a kind with my limited marble exposure. The high bidder is one of my regular buyers and he scoffed that it would sell for nothing compared to a purple popeye where as the patch would be rarer than any bag full of popeyes. I know, people love popeyes, but still, it's almost shameful it is sitting there at a nothing price with only 2 watchers. If it were not one of my regular buyers I would have already cancelled it and tossed it back in the jar.
