  1. some were nice i have the twin to this one http://www.ebay.com/itm/large-3-layer-latticinio-and-large-onionskin-marble-both-Buffed-/321421940026?pt=Marbles&hash=item4ad63d953a It was solid frost. Got Rich to torch it and it was amazing. My favorite marble to be sure
  2. I am NOT a cats eye fan I am a MK and Akro fan It seems to be part of a cold roll. There are 2. 1 is VERY crafty and hard to see, the camera caught it,but in hand I have to level the plane, with direct light and look from the side to see it. I tell ya, I have had thousands upon thousands of cats and never seen one this color and would love to know who made it to be honest. It is blatant 4 vein so I am ruling out master although the cobalt would match a master So I dunno I have other oddities that came with this. Another Cobalt marble that has a Hand gathered 9 on top and nearly NO other glass inside of it...and has a transition line, so it has me perplexed as well. meaning to show it to galen and get his input but so much to doi with the kids and little going on with marbles of late
  3. I have these as well and was told IT was pelt as well HOWEVER, none of my peerless have the clear window so I am skeptical. I also saw some hubaloo about an Alley agate patch and these colors were mentioned and I am still not sure if that is fantasy or not I need to pull out and picture my patches. I have 4 quart jars filled with MOSTLY Akros but some leave me in question. Damn these companies and their desire to look like the other...
  4. hah Anemic Christmas tree ! Queue Galen... I like making up names !!
  5. Yah, he is right on Akro I have a rather large pile of these and get them from different groups so I assume fairly common. Blue on black...hehe, I thought were Jabos. I had 2 and tossed them in a crap jar I donated Oh well...glad I am not a pelt fan I may have some of the bottom one's in Akro jars. I noticed most had clear red windows and every so often I would get red, dull glass on yellow, I will check.
  6. I will get pics up later if needed. I have never seen 1 before. It looked like a solid colored game marble. I held it up to the light to see if it had patterns, etc and saw a large blob. As I kept rotating it I realized it was a cats eye No, it is not the veins making it look blue. It looks like a game marble until you hold it up to back lighting
  7. Ask Idigjars to post his I think I gave him one as a Birthday gift that looks like yours. I just called it a Jelly core and sent it on
  8. Not being a pelt fan I tossed it on the bay. It brings what it brings. I have got to find more some more bumble bees, wasps and scouts
  9. ? I think it is you bud. I am using Chrome and they seem fine to me
  10. Not a Rainbo I have seen before Was not sure if it was a simple rainbo or not SPoke to clyde on phone about the other one
  11. This anything special ? Looks like some wild Christmas Mossy Was going through one of my jars and found it along with a bunch of Cacs
  12. It takes ugly to a different level, that's for sure Different strokes...
  13. I will find out what these are and where from eventually. Most I see have lines or circles where the numbers are. These have a star style pattern that may help me differentiate them from others and helping, at least I hope, me narrow down a maker and date.
  14. I know this. A comment was made that they made clay pool balls. Sounded like BS to me,but not silly enough to not ask.
  15. Did Peltier make billiard balls for miniature pool sets ? Such was implied but I am unsure if I find it truthful in-relation to what I have as mine are clay and I have some that are stone. Did Pelt make clay pool balls ?
  16. Was looking for some images, stumbled a cross this post Steph. Press in the CTRL and mouse wheel up. It will increase the page size, mouse wheel down to decrease. If you want to you can mouse wheel up then take a screen shot and save it,then mouse wheel it back to normal and the saved image will be in the larger font size
  17. Clyde sent me some of those. I THINK he said they were used inside of insulation ? I think he also said some were used on the Viking Rockets, in their insulation, but don;t hold me to that. As I get older and more medicated I get snippets from stories confused. Like I am a DJ and mixing up data in my head to make NEW STORIES !!
  18. 2 of those are Gladdings...god I have far too many of those myself. I am jealous of the North one. Those blends of red ...it's amazing Ric. I have NOTHING close to an inch that reminds me of my elites. Ahhh I love my elites
  19. Oxblood is red glass. Temperature effect usually....not always though Pelt has oxblood but it is a bit different than akro. It's supposed to be red and gets an actual dried blood color. MK, same thing, they make red then, at times, you get an oddball color to the red that is called oxblood. The problem is (No slight to my friend Galen of course) is tunnel vision. Look at a brick and look at an Akro milky or silver ox. the color is SIMILAR but not the same, but both are Oxblood. A brick, to me, is the TRUE oxblood color as I understand what a color pallet is and while i prefer Akro over it, those are "similar" but the effect is more like blood on water and I like that look better. Oxblood is a shade of red, nothing more. This is oxblood
  20. That's a Blended Ox girl scout its pretty keep it. MKs have taken a dive over the last 4 weeks
  21. Well, I think the coal miners looks bad and the confetti afterwards was god awful and it got no better with each mineral. The mellon patch and berry patches look horrid, to me, as well. I did like the Simply Jabo and the Jalley Ty for the pics Rich
