No, I would not agree. Some people miss it, miss it, miss it and then say I am not missing it again. It's what drives some hobbies. Some times you have people with more money than they care to worry about. Point is TWO people , at a MINIMUM,wanted it...not just 1. There was also floro bidders and unless you have been to an auction before and see the level of FLUFF spouted, you may not understand how something you feel is worth 1.00,seen sell for 1.00, sells for 10.00 As I have said before and it applies to EVERYTHING....somethings is only worth what someone else will pay and in this case, people were willing to pay more than you have seen before. Simple stuff

I REALLY hate busting bubbles down here. I mean..i LOVE saying "OMG! YOU SCORED!" But these are run by me every few weeks and it almost breaks my heart to tell people the true story and the value. Last guy said " I eed 5.00/ea" I told him they were from the 90's, blah,blah,blah...he then goes " OK....I will take 4.00/ea" I said I would pay .25/ea on the lot of 80 or I would pay 1.00/ea to pick out one's I thought were pretty...he then said " OK ! FInal Offer 3.50/.ea!" I think he thought I was blowing smoke up his backside heh

Not over priced if multiple people are bidding it. It hit right where the top bidder was willing to go and hit just a tad over where the 2nd bidder was willing to go.

I think the Value estimate they use is borderline silly. They take a number, then double it. Called baiting and making a shot in the dark. Who does their guess-work ? I know people will defend it, but it's not just marbles and It is CLEARLY not based on past sales. I think they try to GUIDE people in a price range THEY want to be in just like many houses do across all levels of items. I have won items on Heritage that they had for over 10x my winning bid and I KNEW what the value was down to the dollar Oh well, lot of people making scary posts about this auction, may be a good thing I didn;t follow it.

I do not get what you are saying dot. It has a hole in it, yes it is junk to me.

I do not care for vitros I see the white line in the green, but, like yours, the line at the blue is peach/pink Marble is junk to me, I will just let it roll on ebay and let it bring whatever it brings. The colors pop and are bright so that may help it. Almost like a Yellow Jacket in color brightness

59/64 is the size...man those pics make that hole look like a crater

4 colors, that blowhole looking spot and 2 round circles beneath the glass...but they don;t look like subsurface fractures so I am confused No white, not sure what it's value is. Wasn;t sure if it would be of interest with the small hole or not.
