  1. Thanks, that's rare Cairo Neon cullet and marble. I dug it at Cairo earlier this year. It does look like it glows but doesn't.
  2. Yeah that's one of mine. I don't know of any Cairos close to the ones being discussed either. I'd say 95% of the lavender-purple and white swirls you'll see will be Alley. Maybe more. Alley used purple at Sistersville, Pennsboro, and St. Mary's. Here are a couple photos of some purples from Cairo. Note the simple plain swirl, no fancy stuff. Cairos don't swirl around as much as Alleys in general.
  3. I don't know of any Heatons with this color combo. Not that there couldn't be. These Alleys are prolific and range in size from peewee to shooter and larger. The base can range from having lots to little clear, white, tan, grey, mixtures of those, some green or blue, etc...
  4. All. The base on these can vary a lot. In color and in transparency.
  5. All machine made marbles were ingots.... ? If you mean double ingot, no, especially at that size. Might be a JABO classic.
  6. It doesn't look new in that pic. I'd say both Ravenswoods by that.
  7. No, it's not Heaton for sure. If it's old, I'd say Alley but something looks newer about it to me.
  8. Some Alley goodness for WV Wednesday. A shooter dusted with AV, a group of blush line stuff, an abalone, and metallic with drizzle
  9. The green fizz will light up like a full moon with UV light. Also they are usually bigger than 5/8" and are 6 ribbons. 4 ribbons of white and 2 of antifreeze green in a very clear bubbly base. Here's mine:
  10. Ok, scratch that then for Davis. On my screen it looked like the UV vitrolite base. Bottom one could maybe be JABO but without glowing base glass I am having a hard time figuring out who they might have come from.
  11. I'm with Ravenswood on the 1st. Not sure on the 2nd.
  12. Hit them with a UV light. I bet they glow. Possibly Davis.

    Vacor ?

I like that one. Nice glass wherever it came from.
  14. Agreed, from the St. Mary's factory.
  15. I don't see much spin on them, not quite 1 full turn or maybe 1 turn at the most...?
